Fantastic Hotel

Pros: Super hotel, fabulous food, spotlessly clean and very friendly staff.

Pros: Food, staff, facilities were excellent. Also excellent entertainment.

Cons: In my room the shower area had paint coming off the wall which wasn't pleasant.

Above expectations. Very helpful and friendly staff

Pros: Resort was above our expectations! Staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. There are plenty of free activities to do every day like archery, yoga, water polo, tennis, volleyball, darts, pool, and lots more! Plenty of free entertainment every day. They have an amphitheatre with performances every night. Food was a big priority, and it was absolutely delicious with a huge variety. We love buffets and this place had an exceptional buffet. There are a la carte restaurants if you want something specific too. Overall cleanliness is exceptional. Place is hygienic. No smoking throughout the hotel rooms and air con. Unlimited water and drinks. Great for families. Private Beach is amazing. Snorkeling in the coral reef was amazing. Sea is calm and relaxing for swimming. We were looked after very well.

Cons: The shop near the reception sold us a bag of dates for a high price. We realised the same product was far cheaper in a shop near the beach - but that's our fault for not being savvy.

We had a very enjoyable stay but would have liked more modern rooms.

Pros: Very clean, lovely beach, nice food, great animation team. Large pools and fun aqua park.

Cons: Our rooms were very dated.

Best hotel in hurgada and Makadi

Pros: Right on beach, friendly reception/bar staff and entertainment team, the snack bar is class during the day burgers and hot dogs and pizzas, all the al a carte restaurants are amazing and they message you on WhatsApp and you can book yourself in for them there

Best hotel in the world for a family getaway!

Pros: This was the best family resort that I have ever been to in my life in the whole world. We stayed for six nights as a family of two adults and an 8-year-old and a 14-year-old and had the best time. The snorkeling off the beach was beautiful, the breakfasts were delicious, there were so many pools and activities like putt putt and archery and amazing waterslides, which was great for the kids. Yoga on the beach was my favorite way to start the day, and the couples hamam treatment in the spa was a wonderful treat. My husband had a medical situation there, and the staff in the medical clinic looked after him very well. The best hotel in the world for a family getaway!

Cons: Nothing. Everything there is amazing.

Excellent apart from the two points I mentioned.

Pros: Staff are very helpful and friendly, facilities are good, food has been excellent, especially in the a late carte restaurants, though these were sometimes difficult to book. Our room was very comfortable, beds comfortable, room housekeeping excellent.

Cons: 1) We went on a boat trip, booked through Sunrise Royal Makadi Bay, but the boat departed from another Sunrise hotel, the one south of the Mamelouk Palace, the Sunrise Garden Beach. We were taken to the main boat in a small boat with an outboard engine, but the boat driver was NOT wearing the engine kill switch around his wrist, which is very dangerous if anyone falls out of the boat. I know of people who have been killed in the water by propellers. 2) The beach frontage and the number of beach front umbrellas is small relative to the size of the resort. The next door resort Fort Arabesque has a much larger beach frontage.

Exquisite luxury and service.

Pros: The food was exceptional. We tried three of the A La Carte restaurants and were blown away by the quality. The main restaurant was also top notch. Room was spacious and as advertised in the promotional photographs. All staff were really polite, cheerful, friendly and helpful. Pleased to find a couple of the pools were heated. No problems finding sunbeds etc.

Cons: Very nit picking but we were at the end of a block and, being winter, the sun never reached our balcony during the day.

Beautiful and relaxing

Pros: The hotel looked beautiful, it was well kept, very clean. The poolside and beachside was a lovely place to be. For all inclusive, the food options were great. The buffet was fantastic. The waiting staff at the beach and poolside were attentive. A very relaxing, beautiful place to be.

Cons: The wine wasn't tasty. And if you didn't put the little red flag on your parasol you were interrupted by salesman very regularly - it would be good if this red flag option was better advertised. There was also a slight issue, or seemed to be, with external organisations or taxis getting into the site.
