Pros: We had a wonderful stay at GrandWaterworld Makadi and truly enjoyed our experience. One of the highlights was definitely the buffet: there was a wide variety of options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with both international and local dishes. The food quality was consistently very good — fresh, well-prepared, and diverse enough to satisfy everyone. The beach is a real gem. It offers direct access to a stunning, crystal-clear sea with an incredible number of fish to see just a few meters from the shore. There are several coral reef spots easily reachable, making it perfect for snorkeling. An amazing experience for anyone who loves the sea and marine life. The resort is well maintained, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the overall atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming. We would definitely recommend it and would happily return.

Pros: We had a wonderful stay at the hotel and were very satisfied with everything. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout our visit, and our room was comfortable and spacious enough for a family of four. There were many restaurants to choose from, so we always found something we liked, and the overall atmosphere of the resort was relaxing and enjoyable. A special thank you to our hostess, Ereen, who was especially kind and supportive during our stay. We would happily return and recommend this hotel to other families as well.

Nice snorkelling vacation

Pros: A family friendly big resort next to the coral reef. A lot of pools and entertainment.

Cons: The rooms were a bit worn out and the food was basic.

Amazing

Pros: we loved our stay and the quality service provided by the staff specifically Ereen that helped us during our stay and was available for us all the time via WhatsApp and in person at the reception ( we really appreciate it). It’s very important to have a successful stay to have someone like her helping you with all you need. We loved the beach of the hotel, we could do snorkel easily and saw lot of fish. There is a large choice pf restaurants and the oriental barbecue is really good. I loved also the sweets that we could have until 22h, the quality is great. The swimming pools are heated and we could enjoy the activities and the night shows.

Cons: People leave towels all around the swimming pools and beach early in the morning and it’s difficult to find a place after 9 am.

Pros: Staff are very friendly and professional, including ladies from guest relations, wifi engineer, cleaning guys and restuarants staff. The facility is great, a lot of water entertainment equipment, lovely beach for snorkling, the whole architecture and decoration has a middle eastern vibe.

Cons: The front desk reception team is in complete mess, we waited for over 10 minutes on arrival just standing there looking at them counting money and chatting. They gave us a Russian menu even though we are clearly not Russian (later we got a English one), forgot to give us wifi username and password (hence the eingineer had to come to our room and fix it), didn't give us a map as well so the first day we were completely lost in the hotel. At chrckout we had a taxi coming in to get us when and reception forgot to tell security the car number again.
