Paradise

Pros: As an Australian living in London, I was desperate for some January warmth and ocean swimming, and this fitted the bill perfectly. Beautifully detailed and spacious rooms, superb facilities (pools and beach) and great variety of restaurants and bars. But what makes Tucana special is the staff, the reception and restaurant teams, and Hammad who looked after our room for us, all of whom take so much pride in their work. Egyptians are generally friendly, but exceptionally so here, just take a walk around the neighbouring resorts and compare. A wonderful and relaxing experience.

Cons: The food is excellent quality and safely prepared, and the overall dining experience is great, especially the Italian and Greek restaurants. But it is not quite up to the level of top notch European fine dining, if for some reason, that's something you're hoping for at a beach resort.

Exceptional stay! Exceeded all my expectations.

Pros: Honestly, this was one of the best stays I’ve ever had. I have to start by thanking the Reception team—they were absolutely incredible. They literally didn’t leave me alone until they made sure everything was perfect. The level of service and attention to detail from them was beyond excellent. The food was also a highlight, especially the Italian and Greek restaurants—both were masterpieces, truly 10/10 dining. Also, a big shout-out to the Housekeeping team for being so professional and keeping everything spotless, and the Bellman who was very helpful, fast, and polite with the luggage. If you are looking for top-notch service and luxury, this is the place. Highly recommended!

Good stay in Egypt

Pros: I really liked the facilities, especially the pool and the nearby beach. The staff were very kind and clearly doing their best to make guests feel welcome.

Cons: One downside was that prices for services like the massage salon were not clearly displayed, which was a bit confusing. On a positive note, the man working at the bookshop was very kind and helpful.

Great stay, recommend

Pros: We had a really good stay in the hotel. I want to mention that the Gaia Restaurant was excellent from the chefs to the waiters to the food. Really delicious. Also the yades and Lucia Restaurants were really good. I want to especially mention Mamdouh who attended us always with a big smile and was happy to see us! The Reception Team welcomed us really well and were always there for questions. The Bartenders at the Pool Bar were fun and fast. The facilities were modern & the beach beautiful.

Cons: - I organized Flowers for my Fiancée. The Flowers were beautiful but really overpriced in my opinion. - The People at the beach bar ignored us (not the restaurant!). We were rarely attended there. That could be improved.

Excellent stay with great value for money!

Pros: We enjoyed an amazing week in this hotel. The rooms were spacious and clean. The food was good and there was plenty of choice. Nice drinks! Staff was super friendly and accomodating (except for a few people in the beach area/greek restaurant). Will certainly go back if we ever return to Hurghada☺️

Incredible value for money, beautiful property and facilities and the staff members were lovely

Pros: The resort was Beautifully presented, the landscaping was stunning and so clean, I didn’t see a single piece of little or blade of grass out of place! It was just such a lovely environment to be in every day

Pros: As usual, the sunrise tucana makadi bay had delivered when we arrived. You are greeted by the front of the house team at the most beautiful micro reception. We were welcomed to the hotel tucana on arrival. Mr. Said Ibrahim Mohamed front desk, who made our stay absolutely amazing.There was nothing they could not do for you.Sadly to many names to mention All the hard-working staff, from housekeeping to chefs & and waiters & security were fully informative and able to give us amazing memories to take away from the hotel

Amazing

Pros: We spent nine wonderful days at this amazing hotel, and this was already our second stay at Sunrise Tucana. For the second time, we also celebrated Christmas here, and once again we had a truly great time. The hotel is beautiful, every detail is well thought out, and there is a real focus on guest comfort. The entire staff is kind, helpful, and professional, which makes the stay truly special. We also absolutely loved the weather in Egypt! We would like to give special thanks to Mahmoud, who drives the golf cart and helps arriving and departing guests, as well as assisting with many other things around the resort. From the moment we arrived, he did everything to find us the best located room and kept helping until we were completely satisfied. His professionalism, kindness, and dedication really stand out — it is clear that he does his job with heart and soul. We are truly grateful for everything we experienced here. Thank you for everything! ❤️
