Great stay with nice rooms, good food, and friendly staff.

Pros: We stayed here for three nights at the end of February. The hotel was very good, with large rooms and beautiful pools. The water park was fantastic, with many fun slides. The food in the restaurant was good, and the staff were very friendly. Overall, most things were great and we had a very enjoyable stay.

Cons: One downside was the very poor Wi-Fi, which worked badly throughout our stay. In addition, the login process was unnecessarily complicated and frustrating. I don’t understand why the internet couldn’t simply be open and easy to access—especially considering the hotel is located in the middle of the desert.

Lovely summer getaway in the winter

Pros: It was clean and well looked after. The food was tasty and fresh and all staff were friendly

Cons: I didn’t like that snacks in the room were charged at £2 a bag of crisps and juice so in order to not be charged you would have to bring from hotel to the room

Pros: We loved everything: the hotel itself, the staff, the attitude, the service, the food, the reception personnel is exceptional. The aquapark is amazing, the pools are really warm in winter. The area is very green and beautiful. The rooms are spacious, modern and clean. The beach is very good, the location is really convenient. Our 6 year old son was so happy. We are coming to this hotel next winter and already looking forward to our next stay. Thank you Jaz Aquaviva :)

Pros: The staff were absolutely amazing. Very attentive and with excellent memories by remembering each visitor. Beds were extremely comfortable. Excellent pools with an adult only section. Great entertainment for kids and adults

Pros: Absolutely Magical Stay! Everything about this resort was wonderful – from the spotless rooms and delicious food at the restaurant to the pristine beach, impeccable cleaning, hardworking gardeners, and top-notch maintenance team. The staff truly made our holiday unforgettable! Special thanks to Ebram and Mohamed at the front office for their efficiency and warm welcome. And a HUGE thank you to Lydia, our guardian angel from day one – always so attentive, scrupulous, and fantastic in every way. She went above and beyond! We left feeling truly pampered. Highly recommend for couples seeking paradise in Makadi Bay!

Pros: A lot! Hot water was constant. The environment was clean and there was an abundance of activities to choose from. Staff were professional and queries were addressed promptly. It is very family friendly. An all-round pleasant experience.

Cons: The tiles in the bathroom are somewhat slippery. It would be good to consider so anti-slip material to help prevent falls.

A very comfortable stay with amazing waterpart facilities, but also easy access to Makadi Beach

Pros: This is a great location for a family that enjoys waterpark facilities. The slides and pool have something for all ages and all inclusive resort structure is well done. The onsite buffet was excellent and very good even for vegetarian/vegan requirements. They went out of their way for our son's birthday with decorations in the room as well as a cake at dinner (plus a group sing along from the dinner staff team). The rooms are large enough for everyone to have enough space with comfortable beds. We would highly recommend this resort and would love to return when we are in Egypt in future.

Cons: Security is very good, but this means it can be a challenge for drivers to gain access to the property as license plate numbers have to be communicated to the front gate from the reception. Plan ahead for this extra step and potentiall delay and it works fine.
