Grand Makadi - Couples and Families Only

Pros: The staff were exceptional. Friendly, helpful and polite. Beautiful ambience around the public areas. Pool and gardens were peaceful and relaxing. Food was buffet style and first class with a huge variety of cuisine to cater for the needs of all customers. We used Uber to get to the hotel and to the airport. Worked well,though we had to get reception to let our taxi in through the gate to pick us up.

Cons: Hotel needs to offer shuttle service to the airport at reasonable prices. Shuttle services offered to clients to Hurghada are an exorbitant price and a rip off. Order Uber, walk to the gate if you have to for Uber pick up! The tour prices are also very high. Book through an agency in Hurghada rather than at the hotel.

Absolutely fabulous.

Pros: The staff couldn't do enough for us. Aswell as an upgraded room. Every need, drink, food, sunbeds where catered for. The manager allowed us a late check out. The hotel is so spacious, even though it was fully booked, we never felt it was too crowded.

Cons: Nothing. The only fault is we couldn't stay an extra night as it was fully booked.

Nice, Cozy, worth for Price

Pros: The first thing I want to say is that the staff was very pleasant and attentive, I especially remember Sherif at the reception - whatever I asked for, he kindly provided it. For example, I asked to organize a birthday evening in one of the their restaurants, and it was made perfect, and in restaurant the staff was also very very pleasant and very kind, they have made everything grate! The hotel was very comfortable, beautiful, quiet environment, with many sports and entertainment activities, close to the beach, the staff was moderately attentive (they were not intrusive). When offering various paid services (massage, quad-tour, salon) they were not intrusive, if I said no, they understood and leave me. This is often a problem in Hurgada and Sharm-el-Sheikh hotels, here this issue was very well arranged, which, believe me, is very pleasant when you want to relax.

Cons: I did’t like that pool was not warming and only one time could I swim in it. But for some people it was OK. Room-facilities need some renovation. But in total the hotel was warth for its price

Pros: Everything was Perfect, Staffs were kind and friendly, food was really good and the Hotel was clean and so beautiful

Pros: We got a beautiful room with a private pool. Everybody was very friendly and helpful. Maximum cleanliness everywhere. This is our 13th trip to Egypt, the food was the most delicious here, a huge selection. Beautiful garden, surroundings. The coral reef is beautiful. It was a diving holiday, but the snorkeling is also fantastic here.

Cons: Everything was wonderful.

The friendliest staff I’ve ever met

Pros: I had a wonderful stay at the Grand Makadi Hotel. The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming — a special thanks to Mr. Rajab, who helped us from the start. Since my wife is pregnant, the hotel kindly changed our room to a closer one, which made us feel really cared for. The pools are big and clean, and the food has great variety with Italian, Asian, Mexican, and Oriental restaurants, plus a large buffet. Overall, we truly felt welcomed and will definitely come back again.
