Relaxing and indulgent. Will definitely come back!

Pros: Excellent hotel, first class service, excellent restaurant and the most relaxing beachfront. The diving and snorkelling were first class and the tennis coach was also excellent.

Cons: Nothing, it was all excellent.

A Serene Escape at The Oberoi, Hurghada

Pros: The main reason we chose Hurghada in Egypt was The Oberoi — one of my absolute favorite hotel chains in the world. And once again, it exceeded all expectations. The elegance, serenity, and genuine kindness of the service make you feel less like a hotel guest and more like you’re being welcomed into a beautiful private home. Everything is refined yet effortless, peaceful yet warm. If you’re looking for a sophisticated escape where you can truly slow down and feel cared for, I wholeheartedly recommend it.

Cons: The only minor issue was the internet connection outside enclosed areas, but the staff handled it beautifully by providing portable Wi-Fi whenever needed.

Fantastic staff and I hope to visit again one day

Pros: The property was beautiful, food was very good and the staff really made the stay as good as it was. In particular Ali Ramadan, who was outstanding playing with my little boy.

Cons: It was a little bit expensive.

Pros: Hotel service. The restaurant served alcohol however the staff made alternative private arrangements for us to meet our religious requirements. It was great.

An oasis of wellbeing

Pros: You will feel immediately welcomed from the moment you arrive. The staff take care of your wellbeing, making sure you feel 'at home'. The resort is more like a boutique hotel, offering plenty of space and beautiful, oasis-style surroundings. The food is excellent, with some buffet options as well as table service. The chef pays attention to every detail, putting your satisfaction at the centre of everything. We rarely felt so at ease and will come again for another stay.

Cons: The rooms need to be modernised. The TV and IT systems are outdated. Some small details of housekeeping could be managed better, such as replenishing supplies and keeping things in order. But it was more fun than really annoying.

The reef is the highlight

Pros: The rooms are big and comfortable, slightly dated but not a problem for us. For example the lack of USB/ charging points inside the rooms was more problematic for our teenagers. The property is on a fantastic reef that is a must see! Friendly and helpful staff.

Cons: Quality and variety for lunch options. Usually not included with halfboard, a very mediocre lunch, with the slowest of service to boot, costs a fortune for a family of four. No internet coverage by the pool or outside terrace and the pool area need a bit of maintenance, many tiles around the pool area cracked etc.

Lively rooms, peaceful, great diving and snorkelling.

Pros: Beautiful hotel, right next to Red Sea. We did two dives on the house reef with our lovely guide. Amazing snorkelling.

An amazing resort for a vacation — highly recommended

Pros: Amazing views, perfect room conditions, and outstanding hospitality. The food and restaurant quality were far better than expected. I highly recommend choosing the half-board option so you can enjoy the wide variety of dishes they offer. The room was in excellent condition, and the resort’s landscaping and overall atmosphere were truly impressive—everything was meticulously designed and maintained. If you're looking for an Instagrammable resort in Hurghada, The Oberoi is the best option, even though it's located a bit outside the city.

Cons: The hospitality from the staff was generally warm and attentive. However, there were instances where our requests were not fulfilled as expected. It's a good idea to double-check the restaurant menu or the receipt, as some errors may occur. Although the staff maintained a polite tone and professional attitude when addressing the issues, it would have been better if the service had been delivered correctly the first time
