Simple but luxurious

Pros: The hospitality . it is cozy simple and comfortable. The staff are amazing especially Nagat Ali chef bread cooker and wonderful sweet. Chef Alaa in eggs Section. Boss Ayman & all waiters Mohammeds Ali & Islam. Hesham the housekeeper is great.

Pros: We had a great week, the hotel and staff are exceptional: - a beautiful hotel, lush gardens, bright spacious rooms, spotlessly clean - every single member of staff was so welcoming, giving service with a smile, nothing is too much bother - the food is excellent with many options at the buffet and a great variety of choices of places to eat and graze and drink throughout the day - the option to book 2 dinners at one of the a la carte restaurants here or at either of the hotels next door is a nice touch - the beach, bay and ocean is wonderful - super clean, extraordinary service and the house reefs abundant in sea life - whilst the hotel was fully booked, it never feels busy, always a space to sit, to hang out and relax

Cons: Nothing we didn’t like, a couple of suggestions for slight improvements: - bed pillows were very firm. Perhaps option for softer ones for guests? - air conditioning fan, even on lowest setting, is very noisy making sleep difficult through the night

We have been to Egypt 9 times in recent years and this is the best place we have stayed

Pros: Staff were excellent, very helpful and pleasant to deal with. Facilities are good and well maintained. We normally dislike buffets however the buffet at Jaz Costa Mares was excellent with good quality food and a relaxed atmosphere. The bay is good for snorkelling and scuba diving (Mira at the Dive centre was wonderful).

Cons: The resort is hard to fault, the only thing I can think of is that the gym would benefit from some more equipment. There were 3 treadmills, at least one elliptical trainer, a rowing machine, several exercise bikes, dumbbells and two good multi-gyms that were all in excellent condition, I would just like more :-)

Pros: Good location, nice layout and nice rooms. Food was excellent.

Cons: No thick curtains so was like daylight in room all night. Beds too hard. Not a hotel issue but far to many boats -people harrassing the only remaining dugong.

A wonderful and relaxing two-week stay, thanks to the confort and the friendly staff.

Pros: The hotel is so well-organized and compact. All the amenities are incredibly accessible, and it was great to be able to walk to everything—from the restaurant and bar to the beach and pool—in just a minute.

Cons: There are two areas for improvement: the shower drain in the room was slow despite a cleaned filter, likely due to a deeper issue with sand in the pipes. Also, adding a shower near the foot washes on the beach would be convenient for guests to rinse off salt without having to go all the way to the pool.

Pros: Best quality meals we had so far here, after being in several 5 star hotels in Marsa Alam. The hotel facilities are great, you can not only enjoy the Red Sea but also the pools of the resort.

Pros: We really enjoyed our stay at Iberotel. It's a great place, we were able to see sea turtles and dugongs. The hotel itself is new, modern, comfortable, with great food and friendly staff. Every morning at breakfast we were greeted by Dina with a big smile and we immediately felt like we were at home. We could turn to her or to any member of the staff with any question, for any help. Our child was delighted with her, the staff and Chef's Heyden's incredible team who treated us from morning to evening. The food was very varied, for every taste, and changing each day. The entertainment program was great and varied. We loved the animation team of Mr Simba, and all artists who performed for us. All the staff were very friendly and made our holiday unforgettable. We initially planned to stay for 4 nights, but we liked it so much that we came back for another 3 nights. We will definitely come here again.

Pros: Very well organized, super beautiful hotel and facilities. Great food, entertainment etc. Perfect for families with kids.

Good hotel, cool activities and personnel, great diving spot

Pros: Very good hotel, lot's of activites to do. The food was very good and the equipment was good. The waiters and the other attending personnel was helpful. The activities offered were diverse.

Cons: The price of the taxi ride from the hotel to the airport is ridiculous (35€ for a 10 min ride), the activities recommended by the desk at the hotel are super expensive, the massage at 70€/massage is also ridiculous. It feels like they take advantage of us on every additional element as the hotel is isolated. New modified : After a discussion with the hotel, they have agreed to review their price with their contractor to reduce the price of the taxi. It is interesting to note that they reacted well to this notification and that it will serve future customers.
