Love it here, best resort for families

Pros: Excellent resort, our favorite in Hurgada. Our second stay here, we love the food and all the activities available. Best for families with kids.

Cons: We noticed a decline in quality this year. The food was less varied, no toothpaste and brush in the room, popcorn not available every day, little speed boats not running every night etc..We still had a fab time but the difference was noticable.

Pros: We stayed at the hotel in November. We experienced the same satisfaction here as we did at the Pickalbatros Hotels in Sharm El Sheikh. You can use all the facilities of the other two hotels on the site, including the restaurants, amusement park, and water park. The variety and quality of the food were excellent. It's a great place for families with children. There's no need to wait for buses on the hotel grounds; you can walk everywhere on hotel area. You only need to take a bus to the beach. I would like to thank Islam at the reception and Mohammed for cleaning our room.

Cons: On our first visit to the beach, we didn't know we were supposed to bring our own beach towels from the hotel, which caused us inconvenience. At the beach Pickalbatros towel point, we explained that it was our first time and we didn't know the procedure. Despite the towels and towel cards being the same, our repeated requests were unsuccessful; we couldn't get any towels. Even asking the person in charge of towels to at least give us one to dry the children was futile. Their rude and arrogant attitude made us feel like beggars. This incident upset and offended us greatly. I was planning to deduct two points from the rating, but I gave it a perfect score because that would be unfair to the Pickalbatros brand. Also, the fruit juices could have been of better quality. The beach is a bit small. The facility takes days to answer the questions you ask on Booking.

We recommend this hotel, that is perfect for families due to its outdoor facilities.

Pros: The hotel area is large and incredible for kids. Excellent water park and pools. Some pools were heated. The amusement park, bikes, VR playroom are also great for kids. Several restaurants to choose dining options. Lollipops, cotton candy, popcorn, ice cream and different desserts were free. The Egyptian Museum was also nice. There is a shuttle busses that takes you around the hotel area and aqua parks.

Cons: The only minus is that the shower area in our room would need some maintenance and the beach is not near, but shuttle bus connection is available.

Good value for money

Pros: Very happy with the overall experience. The staff were very friendly and always available to help. Would surely visit again. All facilities were operational with tons of things to do across the property. A number of stores available within the property and a mall 15 mins walk away. Shuttle going to the beach every 30 mins. We were given an upgrade on arrival, which was nice.

Cons: One odd thing was that there were no cloth rons available. You had to use the laundry facilities. There are some construction works ongoing around the propert, so some areas can get pretty noisy and loud.

Fantastic

Pros: Everything was amazing there are a lot of aquas we didn't know how to play in all of them the food awesome there was a lot of choices and 12 or 11 restaurants all of them are amazing and you can go to a party once in your reservation and it was really nice the staff is all kind and at night there was a lot of things to do like going to rent a bike and it was for free and it was big and nice and you can do skating and go to play in the bumper cars and alot of other things the animation team was excellent they do Everything to let the kids enjoy the time and the beach was awesome and the shuttle bus comes to you to take you to the beach because the beach is at pickalbatros dana beach and there is a blue bus that keep doing a tour around the whole hotel and there were drinks and food at the beach the food at the beach starts from 12 o clock but there wasn't so much choices there as in neverland

Cons: There was one from the staff at dana beach mean with us and he was from the ones that cook in the mini restaurant at the beach

Pros: Everything. We loved everything. It is a kids paradise and my kids loved the place. You will definitely not get fed up. We were there for 6nights but by the 6th we left feeling like we still needed more days. The staff is also very friendly. Our room Khaled was friendly, smiled all the times and the kids loved his towel art that he would leave on the beds.

Pros: The entire complex is amazing Activities , good, everithing was exceptional Strongly recommend.

Best aquapark for kids

Pros: Amazing stay for families with kids! There is so much to do that there is no way to get bored

Magical

Pros: My children felt like they were in a fairytale the entire time. I loved the specially curated buffets at all the restaurants! They all had so many options to choose from, and everything was delicious, and the fact that they're all inclusive was such a big plus. The shuttle buses that came every five minutes made moving around the property super easy. We really had a great time, especially the adults with the amazing pools and slides! The 3 days we spent there wasn't enough to explore the entire space, but we still did alot and had lots of fun!

Cons: The bathroom our rooms had a persistent drainage odour, which was hard to ignore. I also didn’t like how some of the staff asked for tips even before offering help with services that were part of their job. I noticed this a lot during my stay in Egypt, and it was honestly a turn-off.
