Good but staff could be better

Pros: We liked a lot the design of the public areas and restaurants. Cleanliness was really good, both for the room and the common areas. Good quality of the food and options to choose from.

Cons: We got a sea-view room that was not renovated and the hot water wasn't working, so we had to let the water from both the sink and the shower running for at least 5 mins to be able to use it. Also, we really didn't appreciate the staff's consistent pressure to book experiences with them: snorkeling, quads, romantic dinner, massages etc. They are probably paid on commission and the connections really felt forced and just not appreciated by us, we only wanted to relax and wherever we would go, we would be pressured to purchase something at high prices from these staff members. Also, the staff that didn't seem to be working on commission (for ex. Reception staff), seemed multiple times lazy and non-welcoming for our simple questions. The exception was the staff member that checked us in: he was polite, welcoming and respectful. Most of our other interactions at the reception felt like we were bothering them, for ex. We just asked in which bar we can smoke Shisha, and the receptionist answered in a rude way.

Pros: the food was top.only on the pool we have to go for our own drinks

We will definitely revisit Desert Rose again thanks to everyone for giving us such a wonderful time.

Pros: Everyone was very welcoming and friendly. Excellent food. The resort is amazing as it’s like a little town with so much to do. The lagoon is especially a beautiful feature.

Pros: The staff was very kind and friendly, in particular Lucia from guest relation and the restaurant staff in Palm restaurant Milad Salama, Shady Morshed, Ahmed and Abdel. Moreover, the venue is was well-maintained, welcoming and relaxing. The heating swimming pool was great!

Cons: Everything was perfect maybe the curtains could provide better coverage to block the morning sun and in the other swimming pool the water was cold.

Pros: Spectacular facilities, mountains of food at the All you can eat buffet, caring staff, tons of activities and

Cons: Staff training. The activity desk gave us wrong info. The shower head was broken and didn't blow enough water.

Beautiful and Relaxing

Pros: Beautiful architecture and decor, phenomenal staff and we loved the range of activities and eating, lounge areas. We were there for 6 days and had no need to leave the resort.

Cons: Mattress wad slightly harder than I’m used to but I imagine that’s just up to preference

Egyptian paradise 🫶

Pros: The facilities, restaurants, beaches and pools were great! We wish we could have stayed more! Staff was very helpful and king. Ms. Samar was great helping us with everything. Thank you Desert Rose hope to see you again!

Cons: The taxi drivers are horrible at Hurghada the are only trying to scam people! Many good hotels provide free airport transfer services for long stay, I think first impression is very important so hotel should consider offering complimentary airport transfer services. Main restaurant was great but the food varieties were repetitive I wish we could have used more à la carte restaurants! We had one dinner at French restaurant in the hotel and it was absolutely delightful.

Exceptionally nice place

Pros: Very élégant and renovated property. The service was exceptional, kind and professional. I live the new rooms

Cons: You have to book a day in avance for a la carte restaurant but the client relation desk help me to book on the spot.

Would definitely return, with some feedback to improve

Pros: The staff made the stay unforgettable, I specifically want to thank Mr. Alaa and Mr. Milad who made our dinners a very special experience. They helped us celebrate a very special occasion and we're extremely friendly and hospitable. The facilities and the food were AMAZING, and we enjoyed every second of this aspect. Finally, we have to mention the laundry services, one of the best I've ever seen.

Cons: The room felt outdated relative to the price of a club room, we had a number of issues, not least of which the electricity and water boiler cutting out many times in the first few nights - the team thankfully resolved this, however it was still something frustrating for almost half of our stay. Additionally, the room service was extremely disappointing.

Pros: Nehad and Muhammed did wery well on cleaning. All the staff was very nice. The room was amazing. The hotel all great.
