Pickalbatros Dana Beach Resort - Aqua Park

Pros: The all inclusive buffet was great, they have a great desert spread in the sweet home, the beach is great, i liked the fruit party

Cons: Its slightly worn down the rooms and bathrooms, also there is a shopping area, if you walk past it, they start screaming your nationality and urge you to go to their store

Perfect

Pros: Beautiful resort, super clean, not too crowdy when we traveled (january) so more than enough sunbeds at the pool. Waiters at the pool and in the restaurants are friendly (special thanks to Sayed Ahmed at the L'Asiatique). Every day a variety of food, too much to sum up... Rooms are kept super clean (thank you Amjid from Housekeeping department)... Beds are comfortable. We will definitely come again!

Great spot at red sea

Pros: The facilities, the bikes for kids and adults , the beach, the wide set of restaurants

Cons: The extra curricular activities people may overwhelm the hotel guests a little

Pros: Staff is really good, we got a free upgrade with a bigger room and late checkout! The dessert bar is amazing!

Cons: Maybe can have more lamb? I didn't see any lamb selections but the food is already really good!

Pros: Sandy gorgeous beach and heated swimming pools and jacuzzi, several restaurants from Italian. German, Chinese and mideterian with variety and delicious food. Shuttle boat, free bicycle, boat pedalling and lovely staff, especially Micheal, the night shift manager

5th stay here, every year we are positively suprised by the changes/additional facilities offered

Pros: great service (as usual), extremely kind & accommodating staff, variation in meals is fantastic.

Overall our vacation was pretty good and we would come again.

Pros: I really liked the staff in general, they were friendly and helped us a lot. Everything was clean and well organized. The food was okay - I wouldn’t say anything bad, just maybe more fruits would be better. A big plus was that the hotel used clean water for cooking and ice, so we didn’t need to worry about getting poisoned. We had our room in building number 3000 with a lagoon view and close to the sea - can’t complain. The room was big, the bed was comfortable enough, but I didn’t like the pillows (I have my own, so it wasn’t a problem). The bathroom was very big, with lots of space for our cosmetics. As a plus, there is a reef in the sea behind the sandbar where you can go snorkeling. We didn’t see any shark nets, but the sandbar and the reef naturally protect the main swimming area, and it’s clear that the lifeguards are paying attention and watching carefully.

Cons: We are Russian, and we noticed that some of the waiters seemed a bit dismissive and didn’t come to our table as often as they did to guests from Germany. In the spa, the prices were different on different days, and overall the pricing was not transparent - it felt like we had to negotiate, which doesn’t match the level of the hotel. There was only one towel point at the beach, and it wasn’t comfortable due to the size of the beach. Some equipment is a little worn out. The evening program could be better. There was some loud music at night from the hotel next to us, but this wasn’t a big problem.

Pros: The hotel is very clean. The staff are kind, and everyone here is ready to help. The rooms are nice, and there are plenty of green areas and gardens. Nice aqua park.

Cons: The food quality isn’t as good as in previous years, and the pools weren’t heated — the water was too cold for swimming.

If you have doubts if it’s worth it, I’ll assure it, with family/kids it’s definitely worth it!!!

Pros: The hotel was so clean, My holiday was awesome!!!. The staffs from the receptionist giving us a room close to the kids area, to the restaurant staff helping us to get food, the guards making sure we were okay after my daughter slipped on the swimming slides. All this made me feel so well taken care of and I could relax on holiday.Thanks for making our time there memorable!!!!

Good if you stay on the resort.

Pros: Good hotel, nice rooms, everything is very pretty. The hotel and the territory are super clean. Amazing beach and snorkelling. Good breakfast.

Cons: The food is too Europeanized. It was good, but it was nothing special. Not enough seafood.
