Attentive friendly staff made for a very comfortable and relaxing holiday.

Pros: The resort is a mixture of apartments with balconies and differing views. The accommodation is reasonably sized and provides plenty of space to store clothes and personal items. Air conditioning helps maintain a comfortable temperature in the apartment.

Excellent vacation at the red sea

Pros: Everything of this hotel was great, starting with reception Ahmed who was very helpful and nice, room was great, with a nice terrace am pool view, the beach is clean and very nice..and the food.. delicious!!

Cons: Maybe a small renovation, many mirrors in the gym ( wich is very nicely)

Pros: I have spent three weeks in Amarina and it was wonderful. The staff was always very helpful and treated me like a princess all the time. The room was very spacious which surprised me. The sea was full of fish visible even from the mole, the coral is beautiful for snorcheling. If you like to go to bed early, maybe the evening program (which ends always at 11 PM) could disturb you a little bit, but as I am a night owl, I was completely okay with that. WiFi is available in the whole area including the pool which I really appreciate as I was working some days. Food could be little bit repeating for you if you stay for a longer time, but I was completely in love with the sweets. I will definitely come back.

Pros: We did receive the room we had booked, with a pool view, balcony, air conditioning, and a large, spacious bathroom. However, when we arrived, there was an unpleasant smell coming from the bathroom drains, probably due to stagnant water as the room may not have been used for a while. The smell disappeared later. The resort is large, beautiful, clean, and well maintained, and it seems ideal for families with children. The beach is quite steep and the water becomes deep quickly. There were cold water currents, and during our stay around New Year’s Eve the sea was rough, with red flags raised on some days. We have been to other bays where the water was much calmer and warmer. When we arrived, there was an unpleasant smell coming from the bathroom floor drain and the shower drain, likely due to stagnant water as the room may not have been used for some time. The smell disappeared later.

Cons: A section of about 1 km of the road leading to the resort is not paved. The beach is quite steep and the water gets deep quickly. There were cold water currents, and the sea was rough during our stay (New Year period). On some days, the red flag was raised. We have visited other bays where the water was much calmer and warmer. The food was not to my taste, and I had some stomach issues. Fortunately, I found yogurt at one point, which helped. Some services offered by the resort, as well as external service providers allowed inside the resort, felt very expensive — more expensive than in many European countries. For example, €50 for a haircut and beard trim seemed excessive, and the massage salon asked €250 for three sessions totaling 150 minutes. The external services such as ATV safari, boat trips, snorkeling, and scuba diving were not to my liking. During the ATV safari, you were not allowed to accelerate, drift, or really enjoy riding. This was hard to understand — traffic in big cities is chaotic and dangerous, in the desert, on open and empty terrain, everything is extremely regulated. You are forced to ride in a column, without being allowed to do anything. Basically, the ATV ride felt like driving slowly through dust at 10–20 km/h for about an hour, just to stop for a few photos. At the end, they ask for $60 for those photos, taken with a very basic camera. I would not recommend ATV safari in Egypt. Even a 5-year-old child would probably get bored — no adrenaline, no adventure, just dust and sand. If you are looking for excitement, walking along a busy boulevard in a big city feels more intense and entertaining. The same applies to other external services. On top of that, prices are highly inflated, in some cases even tripled, for services offered by third-party providers.

Home from Home

Pros: Warm welcome, like coming home. Great service from all departments. Super food in choice and quality. I stayed for both Xmas and New Year's celebrations. The hotel provided special menus and shows to mark the occasions.

That was wonderful stay I would highly recommend this hotel for family vacation. Good value for money!

Pros: The hotel was rather clean. The food was great. Beds were comfortable. Rooms were big. The pools were big enough and one of them was heated. But what we liked more was the staff, especially the receptionists, were always ready to help!!!

Pros: Great location, amazing in-house reef, overall delicious food, nice entertainment, every day the room was properly cleaned. Many guests are coming back to that hotel.
