Hotel Sultan Bey Resort

A home away from home.

Pros: The family feel, the community feel, the architecture. The wonderful, friendly staff they are so attentive and everything is done with a smile. The delicious food, the entertainment, proximity to downtown. Last but not least the resident cats.

Cons: That we had to leave this little place of heaven.

Pros: Great room and view. Lovely, attentive staff. Beach had enough room for everyone and the bar food was fair. Good value for money. Swimming pool is nice.

Cons: TV was old - not a smart TV and the choice of channels was poor. The breakfast buffet was not varied, with bad quality meat and bread. The entertainment staff were over the top and cringe. No hot water for last 24 hours with no updates on timelines to fix. Shower was a bit old - could do with a refresh.

Pros: Everything. Thanks for the full crew especially Amr and Andrew at the front desk.

Amazing, the staff are lovely and made the experience memorable

Pros: Our first stay in Egypt felt amazing, we met lots of nice local people in the village, in shops and lots of kittens! The resort is beautiful, there is one restaurant, a bar with drinks and snacks, there is one pool and the beach has a fake sand area with a shallow end in the ocean. There is an oriental night on Saturday with dancing and authentic food. The food was delicious , no problems, the staff were so nice , went the extra mile giving us a breakfast box at 3am for our flight. We felt warm and happy with the experience and vibe of the place. The bad reviews on this site may be more snobby people who knows.

Cons: The bathroom could need a bit of updating just because the shower head is leaking and sometimes very hot

Pros: Clean, beautiful and wonderful place. Excellent location in the heart of El Gouna. The staff is very respectful and cooperative and I would like to thank Mr. Andrew for the warm welcome. A beautiful restaurant overlooking the lagoon and offering a variety of food to suit different tastes and take into account the special needs. Access to the beautiful Zeytouna beach through a shuttle boat in 5 minutes from the hotel. A beautiful experience and I hope to repeat it soon

Cons: I suggest that the last return shuttle boat from Zeitouna Beach be just 15 minutes before sunset, as the last trip is currently at 17:30 which forces the guest to leave and return while he still wants to enjoy the place and there is still a long time until sunset. Just a suggestion and everything is beautiful and wonderful

Pros: The breakfast was great and the whole hotel had a very nice historic yet modern vibe to it. So many activities to do too to keep everyone entertained and also a boat shuttle service to take you to the nearest beach!

Cons: The rooms are one size so having 3 people in one room was tight

Pros: All the staff are cooperative and always smiling when meeting and dealing with them. The cleanliness of the hotel and the place is very high. My family enjoyed the place very much and the staff’s treatment of us. My family enjoyed the party program, which was held tonight when we arrived.
