Pros: The resort was a little old, but it was cost-effective and convenient. The pool had warm water, so I could swim in winter. and It was easy to take a walk to the beach and see the fish. When I checked in, the manager was friendly. He was paying attention to from his customers through an external website like booking.com. He also upgraded my room and gave me a direct phone number. And since lunch time was just around the corner, they helped me to hurry up and have lunch before check in. And they also gave me bags of sandwiches and fruits when I checked out and was avout to move to other city. It was helpful during a long trip. They helped me get in the Taxi too.
Cons: But some of the swimming pool bar and the restaurant servers are a bit arrogant and rude. For example, Baseem at the pool snack bar. He didn't reply and didn't look at me when I said \

Beautiful and friendly place. Could do with some quiet hours with no music.
Pros: Beautiful and well maintained resort. Low-key and relaxed vibe, the way we like it. Everyone on the straff super friendly. Nice little stretch of beach and a pier to watch fish. Beautiful pool with decent warm water to swim in Febuary. Food in the buffet restaurang was delicious and lots to choose from (the other two restautants uninteresting).
Cons: We loved it here, BUT next time we will try to find a place that does not play loud and oboxious music all day over the whole pool and beach area. If such a place exists in Hurghada? Bring earplugs!

Worth the visit
Pros: The best thing was the workers, they always greeted you with a smile. Especially Abdul as a servant was amazing and Wael in the reception was very helpful, the entertainment was also very lovely

perfect stay during off season
Pros: We really enjoyed our stay at Alma Bay! Everyone was super friendly and attentive, ranging from friendly greetings to having our usual drinks ready the second we walked into the room. When we asked for an additional vegetarian dish, we got to talk to the chefs and they delivered promptly. Both the beach bar and the lobby bar were real nice and we loved to sit down and enjoy a drink. Due to our stay being in the off-season, we had a lot of space on the beach and also at the restaurant. We would definitely come again.
Cons: We did enjoy the beach but the water remains shallow all the way in. There is a pier where you can walk to the deeper water but for a real snorkeling experience you probably need to book a tour on a boat.

Perfect stay!
Pros: We stayed 3 nights in Sunrise and wish for many more. Loved everything about the resort. Service was excellent from easy checking in with manager Wael, beach service of Salah and perfectly cleaned room by Mohamed. Food was delicious with high standard and a lot to choose from. Also they offer something on the grill everyday for lunch and dinner. Dinner themes every night. Cocktail was very also delicious. Beach was always clean. Pool heated.
Cons: Absolutely nothing to complain about. But good to know is :Unfortunately not nice snorkeling place.

I truly enjoyed my holidays here and definitely I would come back.
Pros: Great facilities, friendly and very helpful staff especially the head in the reception, and good quality foods as I love grilled meat and fish, and salads! Oh I tried several sweets too and they are so delicious! They have another restaurant as an option, if you are not into buffet.
Cons: The sewage smell in the bathroom ä occurred sometimes at night, probably from the exhaust hole???
