Overall it was an amazing stay, would definitely recommend!

Pros: Amazing view of the River Nile. It was also pretty clean!

Cons: The shower was really weak, it was hard to shower with no pressure.

Pros: Can’t get better value for your money on Elephantine Island. Comfortable, clean (no bed bugs!) private rooms, with aircon. Gorgeous rooftop view of the Nile. Seko was a hospitable host, always available for questions on WhatsApp, welcoming me with some tea and also helping me with the logistics of my stay when I was very tired and tight on time during the day.

Wonderful peaceful setting with beautiful views

Pros: Gorgeous views, comfortable room, lovely staff, peaceful location, delicious food. Seko was a helpful and welcoming host. When both me and my friend got sick with food poisoning (from food we'd eaten elsewhere!) Seko was concerned and incredibly attentive, making sure we had exactly what we needed, including finding and bringing us a cold coke late in the evening one night.

Pros: Can't recommend enough. The accommodation is located perfectly on the west of Elephantine Island, with a terrace over looking the sleepy sunset side of Aswan. The island is magical, providing a peaceful break from busy backpacking. Seko the owner is great.

Glorious view, ideal price & location, sweet locals❤️

Pros: The stunning view of the Nile river is fabulous, breathtaking. The location of the guest house is in Aswan Island, which is absolutely ideal for backpackers seeking peace as you can only reach it by ferry 24/7, there is no bridges to cross the island. Moreover, the price per night is great value for money, I would have paid more than that for such an accommodation with all these amenities including the Ac which was obviously new, the location, this cute cat they have 😅🥰 Seko was nice, honest and guided us for Activites nearby in Aswan. He is such a nice person, and all the people on the island were kind and welcoming. I hope I come back there soon.

Cons: In my opinion it is a minor thing but I hope to be considered in the future, which is the water pressure in the double room on the roof was too weak to have a good shower, however there was a water heater but unfortunately I couldn’t get the benefit of it because of the low water pressure ☹️

Pros: Excellent value for money. All the staff are excellent. The manager always tries to accommodate guests' needs as best as possible. Good location.

Pros: We had a wonderful stay at Seko Kato Nile View Hostel on Elephantine Island. From the first moment, the owner was very kind, caring, and welcoming, which made us feel at home right away. We were greeted with a welcome drink, and throughout our stay we could prepare tea or coffee anytime, which was a really nice touch. The rooftop terrace is a perfect place to relax and chill, with a calm and peaceful atmosphere. The island itself is quiet, with no cars, making it an ideal spot to slow down and truly relax. The hostel is clean, well-maintained, and the staff are friendly and helpful. Overall, a very pleasant and comfortable stay — we would definitely come back. 🌿✨

Nice place

Pros: It is a nice place, nice rooftop and it clean. It is very quiet and the view from the rooftop is beautiful

Cons: Even if you book a private bathroom you have to know that you will have a private bathroom but outside of the room. Also the breakfast is expensive and not good (very little and basic)
