Unique stay in the heart of Nubian Village

Pros: The cultural environment is remarkable. You can have a real feeling of the Nubian culture, and their cuisine and kindness. All the staff was really helpful and giving the extra mile to make us sense welcome. Salah, one of the hotel managers, gave us even a tour through the valley and the Nubian homes in the area. Equally, he helped us to get safe transport to get to the airport, and even with breakfast to take away. The property is on the east bank of the Nile river, just in front of the water, which made really easy to take Nile tours with the hotel. Equally relevant, the hotel is just 30 minutes by car to the airport.

Cons: The access path was through unpaved roads, so you need to get through tuk-tuk cars if you go in your own. To avoid this, you can contact the hotel to get proper transport from the airport or city to the hotel.

Pros: The location within the Nubian Village is GREAT! You are directly in the Nile with a gorgeous view and immediately opens up to the local souk. However, the Nubian Village itself is very difficult to reach by car. Be prepared for bumpy dirt roads and camels blocking your path. It’s really worth it though! Once inside the village it’s truly beautiful! The staff were so nice! They had packed up our breakfast the day we left and had it in front of our door as our flight was at 5am. Food at the restaurant was very good as well :))

Cons: In general Egypt will always have slightly stinky bathrooms and loud noises from dogs, music, cars, ect. This place does quiet down better than most though!

Absolutely amazing place

Pros: The room was perfect, the view was amazing, the staff were friendly, the special drink was beautiful!

Pros: Great location next to the Nile river, which is really relaxing and comfortable. You can enjoy the nice view, sunset and sunrise of Nile on the terrace of the hotel, and experience unique Nubian culture. Additionally, I would like to say big thanks to Salah, his team and our driver Ali, which makes our stay very enjoyable. He always tries the best to meet our expectations of travel by arranging land and boat tours with affordable prices. By the way, the restaurant is very great, tasty dishes and big portions.

Cons: Wifi, the connectivity during my stay was not good, but the manager has started fixing it.

Pros: All the staff were very friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to make sure our stay was hassle free and everything was nice and clean. The food was great and location was beautiful.
