Great hospitality

Pros: A hidden gem! The building has an exotic build style. Plus the rooms were very tidy and cozy as well (Soft pillows). The island is very calm compared to the city side. Omar (The owner) is one of the kindest persons I have ever met as a host during my time travelling. He picked us from the other river side with his boat and also dropped us for our tour next day in the early morning. Ask him if you need help with organizing your visit to Abu Simbel, he arranged it for us with a good deal. We will come back! Thank you for making our stay in Aswan unforgettable and for the birthday cake too.

Cons: Nothing.

Pros: I stayed at Kashta Nubian Guesthouse on Elephantine Island in Aswan, and overall it was a really good experience. The location is beautiful and peaceful — you can simply step outside and explore the island. It’s also conveniently close to the main sights in Aswan. The food was excellent, especially the breakfast, which I really enjoyed.

Cons: If I had to mention one small thing, the owner seemed a bit quiet and not very proactive in offering tours or suggestions. However, it didn’t negatively affect my stay, and overall I had a very pleasant experience.

Nubian quality!

Pros: This is an extremely high quality Nubian guesthouse on quiet elephantine island in Aswan. The breakfasts were varied and delicious. The rooms were comfortable, tastefully decorated and clean. We are a family of 4 and found 2 rooms worked perfectly for us. Thank you Omar and family!

Pros: Omar was truly the highlight of our stay. He was always available to take us back to shore with his boat — even very late at night — and he did it with genuine kindness and reliability. You can clearly see that his guests are his top priority

Quiet, affordable stay in a comfortable guest house with a perfect host.

Pros: Kashta Nubian Guest House provides excellent value for money. The rooms are basic, but comfortable and clean. The guest house is on the quiet side of Elephantine Island, within easy walking distance from the public ferry to Aswan East bank. WiFi was the best we had in Egypt! Omar was the perfect host. He went out of his way to assist us with booking our trips to Abu Simbel, Philae Island and the Aswan High Dam - getting up at 3:30am to prepare a packed breakfast and accompany us to the waiting car! A big thank you to Omar. We had a great time at Kashta Nubian Guest House.

Best value for money and a great place to have as a base for exploring. We had a wonderfull stay.

Honest hotel owner

Excellent.

Pros: They were concerned about me after I suffered various damages and provided very attentive care and service. Even though I was leaving early in the morning, they prepared breakfast for me to take with me, and despite it being the previous evening, they helped me look for a tour to Abu Simbel Temple. The owner was very reliable. I will never forget the two days I spent relaxing in such a quiet place.

Pros: Omar is a very nice and helpful host. We feel at home and welcome. Comfortable room and bed. Good breakfast included. Nice location.

Very pleasant and relax stay

Pros: It is a very pleasant guesthouse with a very friendly and helpful owner. Everything’s works as it should do and is very clean. It also has a great rural atmosphere. We certainly book again.
