Beautiful views and delicious home cooked meals

Pros: One of the best places we’ve stayed at! The staff is exceptional, they made sure we had everything we needed and the manager was extremely helpful by sharing suggestions for our Aswan itinerary. Both breakfast and dinner were delicious. Specially dinner, which was cooked by Asma - one of the best meals we’ve had in Egypt! Don’t let the road to the accommodation discourage you. They offer a tuktuk ride in and out to the main street twice per day, which was enough for us. The views are amazing! It is calm and quiet with nice amenities. Everything was clean and seemed recently renovated.

Cons: Bathrooms could have a toilet brush and beds could have an extra sheet on top of the mattress cover. Both were not big issues, just little improvements that could be made.

Pros: Location was excellent for view of the nile but far from town. Breakfast was good.

Cons: No resturants near by..

Authentic Nubian Hospitality with Stunning Nile Views

Pros: We had a wonderful stay here. Our room offered a stunning view of the Nile, and the view from the dining area is simply magnificent. The food was delicious — I honestly had the best falafel of our entire trip here. The hostess was incredibly helpful, assisting us with all our taxi bookings and organizing a tour to Elephantine Island with her daughter, who turned out to be the best guide we had in Egypt. She was extremely knowledgeable, and it was clear how much she genuinely loves history and culture, which made the experience even more special. The beds were very comfortable, and we truly enjoyed staying here and discovering a bit of Nubian culture along the way.

Cons: Nothing bad, just Room for improvement: providing full-size towels would be appreciated. It’s important to note that this is not a Western-style hotel, so expectations should be adjusted accordingly. Within that context, the place is excellent and very authentic. The road leading to the house is bumpy and has some waste along the way, but there is nothing unsafe about it. The nearby Safa Market has everything you might need if you want to pick up supplies before heading back to your room. Overall, a memorable and enriching stay.

Pros: During our two-day stay, we had dinner outside on the first day and ordered food from Fatma on the second day. After tasting her food, we instantly regretted not trying her cooking sooner! She has become one of our favourite cooks now. She is very kind, honest, well-educated, and always helpful, answering every question quickly. Her newly built guest house is very clean and cozy. The balcony offers an outstanding view of the Nile River and the city. We would 100% recommend this place and would love to return for Fatma’s delicious homemade food and the excellent quality of service.

Staff were amazing!

Pros: Fatima and Mr Mohammed are great hosts! They provide a lovely breakfast and the rooms were so lovely and very clean. The view is nice and also the bedroom was very spacious.

Cons: You do need to get a tuk-tuk between the main road and the hostel but Mr. Mohammed is always available to do this for you, so slightly long winded but doesn't cost any more money.

Pros: All three meals at the property was amazing. We absolutely loved it.

Cons: The approach road to the property is a bad road and kinda scary even. So we had to depend on a tuk tuk from road to property and pay extra for it.
