Genuine (no problem) Egiptian/Nubian experience that you will remember forever!
Pros: I ABSOLUTELY LOVED THE PLACE! I stayed in beautiful room on beautiful boat. The food that little women were preparing was plenty and delish and their hibiscus cold tea was a memory I cant replicate at home. I swam each morning in the nile - girls were kayaking. Ahmed orgsnised tours for us to Nubian village, Abu Simbel, took us shopping, sailing on the felluca, and was pure darling attending to anything we requested at moment notice with genuine joy that is hard to find and impossible to fake - god praise the man's patience ;-) There is temple, nilometer, restaurants, shops etc on the Elefantine island to explore and one short cheap cheap boat trip away from mainland Aswan itself. For fancy SPaa or dining experience you can go to Movenpick hotel which is on the same island. Staying in Ajwa guesthouse was genuine egiptian/nubian experience that will for definite be repeated by me in the future!
Cons: You need to be aware that Aswan is noisy and the nile is noisy so bring your headphones or noise stoppers. Elefantine is an island so boat jumping is required therefore if your mobility is quite impaired staying on main land would be better choice.

The suitable place in everything
Pros: Everything is perfect in that place! You will the atmosphere of the warm family there plus the service from everyone starting with Ahmad the manager, Mustafa, and Mohamed. Very friendly guys and the help is coming from heart. Perfect location, in 5 minutes you can reach to any where you want. Letterally. The view is great too, you stay in the core of the nature, in the core of the calm. And finally, food experience there is unforgettable. Amazing place at all and I'll not go to any where else when I back to Aswan.
Cons: Nothing.

Enjoyable and a great place to stay
Pros: Is very peaceful excellent view, Mohammed and his family are very friendly and they make sure you have anything you need. Very clean, aircon works perfectly. The public ferry is not far like 7 min walk and online cost like 10 Egyptian pounds
Cons: The only thing is that we didn't have hot water and we need to shower on another toilet but apart from that everything was perfect.

A new, clean, comfortable guesthouse
Pros: Ajwa Guesthouse is a small, very new guesthouse. The air conditioning and water heater are excellent and the room was very clean. There is no sign on the guesthouse but it is next door to the Nile View Guesthouse and they are run by the same family, so study the photo of the Ajwa Guesthouse and if no one is there when you arrive, just go next door to the Nile View and someone will help you. You can also arrange for the host to pick you up if you have whatsapp. Guests at Ajwa can eat at the waterside restaurant and patio at the Nile View, which is where the photos are taken. The atmosphere is very laid back with no hassle. It is a lovely, relaxing place to stay.

Best place on the island.
Pros: The best spot for sunset on the island!!! The Nubian breakfasts were excellent and filled you up until dinner time. No traffic, no cars. The west side of the island is away from all the noise and hassle that you get on the East bank of main Aswan. The Nubian people are all friendly without trying to extract money from you all the time. We love it here.
Cons: Nothing.
