Perfect place to stay in Aswan

Pros: Very clean and comfortable. Backy arranged trip to Abu Simbel for us

Pros: The view from the top veranda is amazing!! Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Mohammed organised a boat trip for us and accommodated everything we needed, including where to pick us olio, where to drop us back and even sent our bags from the island to the mainland for us to collect!

Cons: The room was as advertised but just felt a bit small. Breakfast was OK.

Good stay in Aswan

Pros: The staff is really considerate and always ready to help! Beautiful and peaceful location.

Cons: Meals take some time to get ready and the triple room we stayed in was not really big enough for 3 adults, specially if each one has luggage to open on the floor.

Pros: The owner Baki has been very friendly and attentive to our needs. Rooms are modern and well equipped. There is a wonderful view from the terrace when you are having breakfast. You can reach the hotel easily by boat. Very recommended!

Nice local experience on the Elephantine Island

Pros: The guest house was very nice and clean. The rooftop is nice. The rooms are simple but functional. The hotel manager was very helpful and responsive. We really enjoyed the boat trip to the venue provided by the hotel.

Great stay on Elephantine Island

Pros: This hotel is an excellent choice in all aspects. We enjoyed our stay very much and would highly recommend Baky and all the staff members.

Elephantine Island is an experience, very authentic, it is not very touristy and not much hustling. Only a bit too much

Pros: We stayed 3 nights, the host Baky was very welcoming and helpful, letting us change rooms to a bigger and organizing a boat for us. The room was very clean and calm. On the roof terrace you had a nice view to the monastery across the water. Overall a good value for the price.

Pros: Very clean room nothing is missing, rooftop terasse to refresh and relax after one day of visits, the calm of the island, Baky has the best advices for visits. And not to forget, living on elephantine island was the best experience in Egypt with nice people; Baky is very attentive and he will manage the transportation for you.

Charming staff and location, the highlight of our trip!

Pros: Our stay at King Mina was absolutely wonderful! Aswan is absolutely charming and it was the highlight of our trip, mostly thanks to the staff at King Mina. Baky, the manager, was the best guide we could have hoped for; besides helping us organizing everything on the island, he joined us around and showed us the culture of Aswan and Elephantine island, which was really lovely of him. The women at the house were also lovely, preparing us breakfast every morning and making sure we have everything we need. The atmosphere was overall relaxed and charming, the accommodation provides boat service to the mainland any time of the day, every single aspect is taking cared of. We absolutely loved the stay and would love to come back one day. Thank you to everyone at King Mina! 🙏🏽

Cons: Nothing at all

Pros: We had a lovely time at King Mina Nubian House. The place is clean and comfortable, and the rooftop has an amazing view. Baky, the owner, was very helpful in planning our visits around this beautiful region. Getting there requires a short walk, as there are no cars on the island, but Baky kindly helped us with our luggage. The value for money is unbeatable, and staying on the island was truly charming. We highly recommend this place!
