Pros: Yaser and his family hosted us with great hospitality. From the balcony of our room we had a marvelous view over the Nile. We enjoyed the quiet and peaceful atmosphere very much. Happy to have chosen this place.

Cons: The bathroom is simple, but functional and clean.

Quiet location with amazing views

Pros: Lovely location on the quiet side of elephantine island. Stunning sunsets from the balcony and amazing views. Yasser and his family were welcoming and attentive. They can organise boat trips and tours if you so choose. The room was comfy and relaxing and it was nice to be in such a quiet area right next to the Nile.

Pros: Beautiful location opposite the Aga Khan's tomb and the Coptic monastery, with its feluccas ballet. Yaser and his family are incredibly attentive. I highly recommend it for a peaceful and picturesque stay.

Pros: Fabulous place and view amazing from balcony. Especially sunset. Aswan is lovely! And Elephantine island, so nice just to walk around. Hosts are wonderful hosts. Beds quite firm but still comfortable. Excellent place to relax and you can use the little kitchen if you need to. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Pros: Dangy is super considerate. The guest house is on the other side of the island and He picked us up from the ferry terminal by his own boat. The guest house is cozy and the view is amazing from the balcony. He gave us not just a welcoming drink but also guided us to the public ferry. Next day morning he made us sandwiches and tea while we had some problems with our travel agency. So Dangy is very warm hearted and nice person. Would recommend to stay longer!

Nubian Homstay with best view on the island

Pros: Contemplating the Nile from your bed, the gentle breeze that whistle the reeds by sandy shores and the stone islands will reset you in a peaceful no needs dimension. Unreal place and people that you just want to hug and be grateful. Unforgettable feelings of home

Cons: The compromise of travelling sometimes is harsh if you need to leave too soon

Pros: Great location: very close to town, but it feels like country-side. The house is placed just on the bank of the river and the room had a view over the Nile and the desert on the other side. The hosts was extremely welcoming! We were picked-up by boat when we came to take the ferry and later deposed at the same place. They helped us arranging the necessary visits. There was a good internet connection.
