Pros: The location was great facing the water and quite comparing with the main city, food was authentic and well done :-) the jetty service was also excellent and affordable

Cons: lack of information inside the rooms (power switches and where to get drinking water ...etc)

Pros: Mustafa, Faris and his family are what make this place really special. They were so welcoming and helpful. They sorted all our trips for us and made it very easy for us. The room (5) was very comfortable with an INCREDIBLE view and the shower was very good and hot! The location is on the other side of Elephantine island which means you do have to walk to get to the ferry but it’s not far and it does mean it is quiet and with a beautiful view over the West Bank so a great place to sit and relax for a while. I would recommend to anyone to stay here

Cons: Our only regret is not eating dinner at the guest house!

Pros: A wonderful stay on Elephantine Island with a beautiful view over the Nile. The location is perfect—very calm and peaceful, making it an ideal place to relax after a day of exploring. The owners are extremely kind and attentive, always ready to help us organize trips and transportation with very fair prices. The homemade food is delicious, and full of local flavor. Highly recommanded to enjoy a pleasant stay in Aswan.

Cons: We saw a cleaner chuck a container of trash off a balcony into the reeds by the river. We didn't follow up at the time - it may have been an different-but-connected building, rather than Nile View itself. But either way: just no. Don't bother trying to visit Movenpick on the same island. They've walled themselves off completely - only boat access in and out - thus demonstrating how little they rate supporting neighbouring people and businesses. Stick with the folk who are looking after you so well at Nile View.
