Utmost safe oasis for a solo female. Have to come back again.

Exquisite unforgettable luxury at the El Quseir Movenpick Egypt

Pros: The location is exquisite, the site is so unbelievably beautiful within its gardens there are flowers so colourful they brighten your morning or evening as you walk or a are driven by golf carts wherever you want to go. The multiple pools are all so different and immaculately clean. The provision of towels, drinks, conversation is all done with a deeply authentic and willing smile. The staff are so here for you and not in a hierarchical way, they want you to be happy and have an anything is possible attitude. You can do any activity you could want, tennis, snorkelling, yoga studio, massage and more. The food is outstanding as are the bedrooms. I stayed in two different rooms and cannot fault either. The Premium Garden View in group 11 is stunning and so near the beach and the hotel. This hotel is luxurious on every level.

a wonderful experience at the red sea. well maintained hotel. private stillquite intact reef. not du to lack of manageme

Pros: had an up grade in front room and enjoyed the view over the bay, the huge roofed terrace and the jaccuzi. employees all very helpful and friendly

Cons: 1. the bed was too soft for me. 2. once you renovate. use toilets that actually flushes the right way with not using so much water and still work

Cozy Nubian Charm and Stunning Reef

Pros: Everything about this hotel is wonderful. The architecture in Nubian style creates a cozy atmosphere, and the grounds are beautifully maintained. I especially loved that the rooms are set in single-story Nubian-style houses with spacious terraces. There’s a thoughtful attention to every detail of the guest experience. The rooms are small but very cozy, and the bed is extremely comfortable. All the staff are attentive and genuinely caring. The beach is stunning, with a reef in excellent condition and full of diverse marine life. Meeting an octopus was an unforgettable experience. The food delights with both its variety and sophistication. This is definitely a place I would love to return to.

Overall we had an enjoyable stay

Pros: We really enjoyed the Jacuzzi on our terrace & watching the sunrise every morning. The buffet breakfast & dinner were very good with lots of choice. The onsite Dr was very helpful & accomodating. The staff were superfriendly & helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

Cons: Sometimes the sea front got a little smelly when the tide went out. The beach area outside of the resort wasn't great. There was some renovation taking place when we were there in July so the tranquility got disturbed.

Choose the Hotel for its lovely atmosphere and house reef - don't buy the extras.

Pros: -Great food and many options to choose from at the Orangerie restaurant (we took HB for 25 dollars pp) -Nice comfortable Family Room with two bedrooms and two bathrooms -Great house reef with many colourful fish, you dont need to dive you can rent a full face snorkelling mask from the bazaar shop for 5 euro/day and just do some snorkelling -Many beach umbrellas and loungers we had no problem finding one even later in the morning (try the far right side it has better views and less people). -We had our lunch at the Divers Club next to the beach where the food was very good and at good prices -The Diving Club arranges both diving and snorkelling trips at beaches nearby. Be sure to write down your name on the list early on (there is a minimum of 4 persons per trip). There is a place called Abu Dabbab where you can see sea turtles and cows (Dugongs). Unfortunately we did not make the dates but hopefully you will!

Cons: -We booked this hotel due to its proximity to Luxor as my daughter wanted to sea the ancient ruins. We booked a day trip to Luxor with the Hotel's (in-house) associate, New Line Limousine Company, which cost about 480 euros for three people. First, they tell you that the trip takes 3-3,5 hours but it actually takes 5 hours since tourists cannot use the normal road, they have to travel through Safaga first and pass through a check point there. But most importantly nobody warned us that it was going to be 43 degrees Celcius there!(be warned there is a huge climate difference between the Red Sea and inland Egypt!). It was impossible to walk and see the monuments, the car was too small for 5 people, the guide insisted on taking us to other monuments than the ones we paid for, there was no boat ride as advertised, instead they took us to a \

Great diving and superb hotel and facilities but expensive.

Pros: Staff, standards, quality and small touches. I caught a throat infection and couldnt dive, without prompting, reception sent some throat lozenges. Small touches but lovely. This hotel is a class act.

Cons: Unless you're diving this is quite a remote resort. Also I thought the prices in the restaurant £35 for a buffet, spa €110 for a massage and bar £50 for 4 martinis was expensive. Also €15 for a return 5k trip was extortionate (especially when 165k to hurghada externally booked was €35). I'll come back (excellent house reef and local diving with easy divers) but will rely more on external contacts.

Gorgeous place to stay

Pros: Location stunningly beautiful with lovely nubian style rooms, (no high rise horror) gorgeous gardens amazing delicious healthy food. The staff are exceptional, kind and helpful, nothing too much trouble from the excellent pool side staff to the waiters and cleaners and reception. Everywhere beautifully clean, the pools are immaculate. Just a wonderful place to relax this was our second trip and we'll be back! An annual favourite. And we love the beautiful well fed cats!

Cons: Nothing!
