Pros: The beach is stunning! Clean and looked after, coral reef with some amazing fish and the sea grass beds in the middle of the beach is where the turtles graze! (Saw two on different days) Food was lovely and the staff so professional and friendly. We upgraded to a Suite which was a nice touch (don't take the offer they make at check in, i offered a third of what they asked for and it was accepted)
Cons: The only thing that wasn't 100% is the Pool that was heated, wasn't heated very much, it was still chilly but more bearable than the unheated ones. The guy at reception when we went to check in asked if we would like to upgrade to a suite which when I asked the price, he gave me a very expensive price, I offered a third of that and it was instantly accepted. Personally I think they should be offering the upgrade at the price they will accept, not expect people to have to Haggle the price!

Pros: Great snorkeling on the reef 20 meters far away from the beach. Nice resort and very kind staff. Very recommended.
Cons: Dinghy trips for snorkeling only in the afternoon when wind and waves conditions are worst. Dinghy trips in the morning only for scuba diving which are more profitable for the diving center. Suggest more balance between snorkeling and diving.

A comfortable and relaxed holiday
Pros: Beach was excellent though you have to enter the sea along in Abu Dabbab bay. Room was super, secluded and very comfortable. Food was varied and plentiful. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Cons: Nothing.

Pros: The food, the food, the food - it was delicious. The selection was quite wide, we loved the themed dinners. Everything we tried tasted delicious and we could feel the ingredients were of top quality. The staff was amazingly welcoming and did their job very properly, without asking for tips non-stop (which is often the case in Egypt). Our (little) complaints were taken seriously and immediately dealt with. The beach could be better but the proximity of the coral reef makes up for it. We also loved the fact that we could have lunch at the beach bar without having to go back to the main hall. The standards of the hotel in terms of hospitality are truly western.
Cons: We stayed in Hilton Marsa Alam during Christmas-New Year period so we felt like it was a little bit overpriced compared to the deals you can get during the Winter season. But the New Year's Eve party made it up to us (to a certain point). The Hotel is rather old so you can see that the rooms were only spruced up a bit but not fully renovated, so that's a little disappointing (old equipment, furniture etc). Also, when we reached, the initial cleaning was not properly done with dust being left here and there but luckily our complaint was handled rapidly.

Great and relaxing location
Pros: The resort is not big as the others in the nearby, it is cozy and not crowded of people, the animation staff is friendly but not annoying, the Hilton staff was always helpful and present, it is a good choice to relax and enjoy the beautiful Red Sea.
Cons: The cleaning of the room, the staff is fine, but could be more attentive on the daily cleaning (hairs on the floor, dust under the bed) People of the excursion's agencies or services (hairdresser, massage) on the beach are a little bit annoying sometimes and really insistent.

Really relaxing with good food, great beds an oas in Egypt. We enjoyed the house reef and its many turtles and went for
Pros: Super nice hotell with a comfy set up. Good place to have as basecamp for your snorkling or diving adventures.
Cons: Freindly, location and standard.
