A quiet place with a nice garden

Pros: The room is big and clean which I really appreciate. Also, the staff are also friendly and very helpful. When my guided tour next day was canceled late the night before, the hotel boss helped me book an alternative tour right away. Although compared to the East Bank, the West Bank is quieter but I don’t mind. I only needed a peaceful place to stay before heading to Hurghada the next day.

Cons: The shower was rather small. When I take a shower, the shower curtain keeps sticking to my back. Also, there is no place to put shower gel and shampoo. I wonder who designed the shower this way….

Pros: We chose this hotel because so many people wrote that the owner, Sayed, goes out of his way to help his guests. That is definitely true, so kudos and thanks to Sayed. :) When we landed in Luxor, my suitcase wasn't there; it had ended up in Hurghada. Almost no one at the airport spoke English well, so I was very grateful that Sayed took care of everything, making phone calls and arranging for the suitcase to be transported to the hotel. I was and am very grateful to him for that. The location is great, very close to the Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut Temple, and a 20-minute walk to Habu Temple, which we really liked. The room was big enough for us and clean, the outdoor area is very well maintained, and the view in the morning when the hot air balloons take off is just wonderful. :) It's also very convenient if you want to take a hot air balloon ride because the launch site is very close by. Thank you very much for the wonderful time.

Cons: The only thing we had to complain about was that there is a small courtyard next to the garden where a fire is lit every day (several times) and the smell bothered us, so we were rarely able to air out our room because it then smelled very smoky.

Perfect stay in a lovely hotel, with a warm atmosphere

Pros: The rooms were perfect - very spacious and exceptionally clean. The people working here were so kind and helpful. The hotel has a lovely atmosphere and it really feels like being at home. The owner kindly allowed us to use the facilities after check out and was very helpful in offering information about tours around Luxor valley and arranging for us

A wonderful stay from the British Winter in Mr Sayeed's amazing hospitality.

Pros: As mentioned on previous reviews Mr Sayeed is the 'star of the show'. When he realised we were staying for 10 days he gave us a wonderful room & amended the fridge & wifi for our comfort. Mr Sayeed was always available for guests, attentive & full of advice. The hotel is friendly & welcoming with a relaxing pool & excellently located for the Tombs. We definitely plan to return. We hope you feel a little better soon, dear Mr Sayeed.

Cons: The breakfast was excellent with fresh omelettes cooked for you. Fruit & refreshments readily available, which was a great advantage. We only ate in the Restaurant a couple of times. We used 'Google Translate' one time to order courses separately in order not to have all the food served at the same time, a great improvement.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay here. Thumbs up to the owner & the staffs for the awesome hospitality. Highly recommend

Pros: Well maintained property with great ambiance. Awesome hospitality; the staffs are super friendly and the owner Sayed was helpful with accommodating with my transportation & travelling requests.

Cons: Toilet was a bit small but well maintained and clean.

Great place to stay on the West Bank in Luxor.

Pros: New Memnon Hotel is a very nice place to stay in Luxor, especially if you want to focus your visit on the West Bank. The breakfast was excellent and they have a splendid garden with a swimming pool. The place is very clean.

Cons: The room was a bit small for three adults, but ok for a couple of nights.

Pros: Sayid was superb! So helpful, so gracious, such a great guy. The place was clean, the staff were super, the food was good. We left friends behind when we had to say goodbye.

Hassle free stay

Pros: Great value hotel in excellent location close to the balloon site and Valley of the Kings. The rooms are very clean and the beds comfy, the shower is always hot with plenty of water. Restaurant is also clean and safe with an excellent breakfast. Enjoyed the swimming pool when chilling after a hot morning sightseeing. The best part of this hotel is the owner Sahib who works constantly to make sure you’re having a great time. He will advise and book any trips including the balloon trips which are a must do. He books the drivers from his own list so they are always excellent and the cars are new and clean. He takes away all the hassle and it’s at the best prices too.

Cons: No issues
