Pros: The food was great. The location was quiet and easily accessible. The people were amazing.

Wonderful Hotel in Amazing Location

Pros: Pharaoh's Hotel was absolutely lovely. The owner Refaet was such an amazing host. He was very attentive and can organise anything you like. The location is right across from the Valley of the Queen's and Worker's. The food was excellent and absolutely generous portions. As a solo female traveller, I felt safe and had a great time. In winter it is cold at night so just ask for extra blankets. The water in my room was hot and I had plenty of shower time before it started cooling down. The view from the rooftop is breath taking too! Don't let the out of the way location deter you, this is a great hotel!

Cons: Chilly at night but most homes don't have heat anyway so just be more prepared than I was!

Delightful

Pros: Position is key, great for all the West Bank antiquities. Hotel is a bit shabby and shows its age. But god forbid they pull it down and build a 5* in its place. This is the West Bank at its best, Welcoming, homely and great value for money. Bed was comfortable, Water was hot and sockets in room to charge up your batteries.

Cons: One Mosquito gave me hell, but in the morning I got him back. Sorry about the blood on the wall.

Pros: The location is perfect, really close to all the touristic sites on the West Bank, you can go by foot or bike if you want. They provide food at really good prices , and the owner is super nice ! I highly recommend it !

Good value for the money and a kind host

Pros: The location is excellent and the manager is super kind and helpful. Feel free to ask him any questions or ask for any help. It is a very good value for the money too.

Cons: The faculties are bare minimum.

Good location and kind people

Pros: Very good location at west bank. Hussein is the best! He arranged everything that we needed, and always there to help. He gave us suggestions on what to visit as well. Communication was very easy with him. We had a good time in Luxor.

Unbeatable location at a fantastic price

Pros: Usually people stay on the East Bank in Luxor and do a day trip to the West Bank. I decided to stay here because I wanted more freedom to explore. The owner, Mr Refaat was really nice and helped me with anything I needed. He arranged a driver to the VotK and the East Bank for a great price. Most of the things I did though, was on a bicycle that you can rent, which was great. Also for a nice price. The hotel is located right in between everything you want to see on the West Bank, and by bicycle you can get anywhere quite fast. 5 min to Colossi of Memnon and 15~20 minutes to Hatshepsut temple. Even VotK is possible, but best to attempt this in winter and morning, otherwise might be to hot. A nice dinner can be arranged by the hotel and is freshly prepared. I also liked the area a lot. It was a lot more laidback in contrast to the East Bank and Cairo. For me the stay was excellent and at a great price!

Cons: Airco couldn't keep up with the heat, though to be fair.. it were extremely hot days when I visited.

My best experience in Egypt

Pros: I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to feel like home. The owner, Refat, is almost the best person I met in Egypt. He is always considerable and helpful, if you need anything, first talk to him. He will help you to satisfy all your needs without cheating. He helped me to get a Hot Air Balloon ride with really low price. Without his help, I could spend much more. The hotel is near to The Valley of Kings, The Valley of Queens and Habu Temple. Almost all attractions on the West Bank are within 3km.

Pros: Close to the Queen's of Valley, very friendly owner, tasty breakfast

Cons: The cleanless.
