Incredible place with great hospitality

Pros: Rose Guest House is an incredible place to stay with great hospitality. Location is super with all the archeological sites on walking or biking distance. The owner Gabalawy helps you with everything you need. Taxi, bike, transfer, you name it and he can arrange it for you. I hired a bike for three days and visited Hatsepsut tempel, Deir-el-Medina and more. The food is great and the garden is a lovely place to sit and relax with a lot of trees and birds. This place really is a home away from home. As soon as you enter this place the only thing you have to do is relax and enjoy!

Quiet spot in Luxor

Pros: Good quiet location, nice room, nice roof terrace, nice food, nice people 😁 we stayed for three nights and it was great. Breakfast was nice, we had dinner once and it was very nice. Very welcoming place. And the balloons flying overhead every morning. Stunning view from the rooftop.

Cons: We had a good stay.

Pros: What can I say, i loved every moment in Rose guest house, i came as a guest and left as a friend, i will keep this place forever in my heart ❤️

A welcoming and quiet retreat within easy reach of many of the visitable sites.

Pros: A really welcoming guest house on the west bank. Evening meals were tasty and it was pleasant to stay in the courtyard patio in the mornings for breakfast and for evening dinner, or for a complimentary relaxing tea break after visits. Several of the west bank sights (as well as the ticket office - particularly useful!) are within walkable distances, which was very convenient. The main town and the ferry to the east bank are easily and affordably reachable by tuk tuk or by taxi. The staff were all warmly welcoming and helpful to arrange transport to sights and/or train station and for giving useful advice on visits.

Cons: Nothing to complain about! I enjoyed my stay. Reaching the main Nile-side town and ferry landing on foot is doable (I did it once), but not convenient; however, access by tuk tuk or taxi is really quite straightforward.

Quiet place with Valley of Emperors view

Pros: we stayed 7 different places in Egypt, most of them offer free breakfast, I would say Rose Guest House offered us the most delicious one. Besides, we check-in late at 22:00, ordered dinner in advance, while we arrive the dinner is ready, the kitchen is amazing delicious, the host is very friendly, and we like the view on the roof top, in the early morning can see hot air ballon in the sky.

Cons: a little bit cold in the room, the first night it's our own problem, we forgot to close the window, the second night while all windows been closed, still not warm enough as we expected.

Pros: The hosts are wonderful and very helpful, the guest hosue is in a beautiful relaxing location, very close to the west bank tourist attractions. Highly reccomend

Quiet, homely place with great food!

Pros: We felt like home! Luxor City itself is very hectic, I would not recommend staying in the main town. Rose Guest House is on the quieter side of the Nile in a charming village where we could actually relax. The hotel is run by a very welcoming family which helped us organizing our trip and cooked the most delicious meals :) On the rooftop you can watch the sunset.

Cons: Everything was perfect :)

Pros: Location is superb, close to Medinet Habu temple. Also Deir el medina, Queens valley, Ramesseum, and Hatchepsut temple are within walking distance. Pros: It is such a wonderful place to stay. Beautiful rooftop and view on the Mountain of Queen and kings valley. Nice garde to rest and be. Nice people. Beautiful Breakfast. And not in a crowded area.

Excellent value for moneu

Pros: Good location, room with balcony and hot water from a boiler, friendly staff, good breakfast. Check-in late in the night.
