Good location adjacent to Medinet Habu but some downsides
Pros: This new hotel has been sympathetically restored from an historic house which sits by the side of Medinet Habu temple. The ground floor reception area and the pool area outside have been very well done. There is a nice roof top with soft chairs and a dining table with good views across the road to the temple. Staff throughout the hotel are very polite and helpful. Breakfast is delicous and generous, the evening meals we took in the hotel were also of a very high standard. The cleaning staff are friendly and efficient, everywhere is well maintained.
Cons: The bathrooms are a good size, unfortunately the bedroom is small, not really a lot which can be done about this because they are straight conversions from a traditional house, but it may have been better to provide slightly smaller beds. As it stands there is barely space to walk around the bed. The bedroom furniture is not he best, a little rustic and basic to the extent the wardrobe door does not close properly. For the price and the boutique label which this hotel pushes, it probably should be better. There is an air conditioning unit in the room, but it only cools with no heat, it was a little chilly in the room on our first night. Toiletries do not appear to be premium products. The biggest downside is the Wi-Fi, iIt is awful, It barely worked for the four days we were there and we simply had to rely on our Egyptian sim for the whole of our stay. Given the price, this was inadequate.

I LOVED the fact that it was right opposite the Habu Temple which meant you could just buy tickets first thing in the mo
Pros: I loved how cozy it felt and it felt super rustic but super clean at the same time. Toilet and bed was really clean! The entire compound was so beautifully and tastefully designed. I had a hard time finding nicer hotels in Luxor than this.
Cons: Due to the age of the property I couldn’t really close and lock the toilet window properly and that meant that anyone on the outside could open my window since I was on the first floor. But no biggie as I managed to hang a towel in front of the window. The room is also a tad tiny for two huge luggages (but still manageable as was the case with my stay). If you only have carry on luggage or just 1 large luggage you’ll be fine!

Charming, cosy and relaxed hotel at an excellent location near Luxor’s main historical sites.
Pros: Habu hotel enjoys an exceptional location, overlooking the Habu temple of Ramesses III. A sight to behold! The hotel itself has an early 20th century vibe, with antique furniture and historical pictures on the walls. At the same time it is authentic and cosy, with a very pleasant inner courtyard to take your meals, and a small (heated) pool to relax after an exhausting day. The main sites (Ramesseum, temple of Hatshepsut, Valley of the Kings) are within easy reach. Moreover, the staff is excellent and extremely friendly and helpful. Ahmed, the night receptionist, was great. He arranged all our visits and transports for us at very reasonable prices, and shared great tips and insights. The kitchen staff overseen by the very likeable Hamid prepared excellent Egyptian food, which we enjoyed very much. This was our best hotel stay in Egypt. A great experience!
Cons: Nothing, really. WiFi was sometimes a bit shaky.

A true gem - do yourself a favor and stay here
Pros: Extraordinary staff. - friendly, helpful and kind; nothing is a bother and every single member of the team go above and beyond to please on a daily basis. Special mention to Medo for his warmth and care not to mention all of his lovely guava and hibiscus juices and to Hamid for his superb food. This hotel is a true gem and an oasis of calm and tranquility - do yourself a favor and stay there you won't regret it!
Cons: Basic double rooms are on the tight side and just about accommodate the extra super king bed - a standard king would be better to avoid having to go sideways down the end of the bed! There was an odour of drains in our bathroom (12) but our friends next door didn't have any problem on that front.

Тhe hotel is good but not worth the money
Pros: Heated pool Nice view of Habu Temple from the roof The staff is very attentive They give us an additional heater
Cons: Have in mind that you can sleep in luxor for 10$(as we did the next day), so for that price i would axpect bigger room and newer furniture. There was no lux feeling, but the staff was very good. The AC is working only on cooling and during winter you may need an additional heater.
