Pros: We had pleasant stay in this nice and well maintained hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff. Room was nice and clean, and it was cleaned on daily basis. Food was amazing both in flavour and presentation. This is a hotel with peaceful atmosphere far enough from the hassle and traffic noise of Luxor centrum. Location is great for sightseeing, especially on the west bank. Helpful staff arranged our transport for archaelogical sites with transparent pricing and flexibility. Our driver was kind, reliable and flexible as well. Based on our experience we can warmly recommend this hotel.

Our wonderful stay at The Howard Carter Hotel, Luxor

Pros: Suite was lovely and spacious with gorgeous views of the Nile. Comfortable bed and the room was cleaned regularly. Saeed, the manager and all the staff were very caring and couldn't do enough for us. Breakfast set you up for the day, very wholesome with some organic food from the hotel farm. A small swimming pool with a jacuzzi at one end with ample sunbeds was a plus. I had my 70th Birthday here and the chef very kindly made me a special Birthday cake and the staff sang happy birthday to me! A very memorable occasion indeed! Thank you to all! We will return! Pros: The hotel is absolutely beautiful and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. The level of service is exemplary. We had a wonderful holiday there and nothing was too much trouble for us. The food is absolutely wonderful and the place is immaculate.

Cons: The coffee is dreadful so we went to a local cafe for a decent one. Given the fact there is a lot of attention to detail at the hotel this has been overlooked. Also a poor brand of coffee in the room too.

Positively surprised

Pros: Jewel Howard Carter surprises you. For a 3 star hotel they provide exceptional service, are very accommodating, has a great breakfast and bar and has a very quiet and quaint ambiance.

Cons: The location on the west bank makes it slightly far away from the city buzz on the east. The restaurant, has amazing food but could be a bit more affordable.
