Highly recommended，especially for your honeymoon
Pros: Reception Merina was incredibly welcoming (thank you, Merina)! We were special guests of the day, gifted snacks fruits and flowers.All staff were courteous, shared windowsill offers daily Nile overlooks, suite is roomy and big. 2 lovely nights in Aswan, fully satisfied.
Cons: Just a small note: terrace facilities could use an upgrade.

Pros: The service is fantastic! Merna from reception helped us book several trips. She always responds very fast. Front desk service is also very nice! View is also very nice.
Cons: The bath room design has some issue, whenever take shower water will flood the whole toilet

Superb accommodation with stunning views
Pros: Location high up on the edge of Aswan away from the city smog. Amazing views over the Nile and Aswan. Warmest welcome. Fantastic room/suite. Decent size pool 10 yds away. Felt like a private pool area. Staff were amazing. Myrna and Mariam went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful time. Wish we’d booked for longer.

Pros: Good location, staff makes an effort to be friendly and helpful (except on check-in night when I was given no info at all). Wonderful view over Aswan. My room on the ground floor has direct access to a huge shared terrace which was lovely. House keeping makes a huge effort with setting the scene, with the bedliner folded differently every day, and the last day I even had a towel decoration scene on the bed.
Cons: The shower pressure is so uncomfortably weak that it’s almost a trickle. The water pressure is obviously not enough to sustain the rain shower head, but using the handheld one won’t work because the holder is at waist level… It seems like the proprietors are determined to skimp on absolutely everything - there is no hand soap until asked, no body soap at all, and you had to make do with the tiny shampoo bottles that are of low quality (hardly lathers…). That and the low shower pressure made the experience in the bathroom a rather uncomfortable one, even if it was spacious. The flooring is cheap laminate that is uneven and started peeling in some places. From my room I can see the pool in the other Basma Hotel, but there was no info booklet in the room and nobody explained at check in, so I wasn’t sure whether we were allowed to use it.

Pros: Luxurious rooms, huge terrace with amazing views of the Nile, nice pool. Staff were very kind, gave us a complimentary breakfast when we arrived early!
Cons: The listing said it had table tennis which the children were looking forward to. This is in their other hotel down the road.

Stunning views, relaxing and peaceful hotel, perfect!
Pros: Wonderful quiet location high up above the town of Aswan with amazing view. Our rooms were in the ground floor with wide terraces and comfy outdoor seating. There was a small pool beside our room which was so refreshing with fluffy towels and sun loungers. The rooms were spacious modern and clean with crisp bed linen, small seating area. Bottles of water provided and plates of fruit and sweet treats refreshed daily. There was a small bar area which served beer, wine etc. Staff were really excellent. An early start one morning we were given breakfast boxes, all ready when we arrived at reception. It was great value for money for2 rooms B&B for 2 nights. Loved it and highly recommend this hotel.
