Philae Hotel Aswan

Pros: Location is great, close to mini-markets, food places and just across the ferry crossing. Room was very big (actually a small apartment) Breakfast was nice if taken in the hotel.

Cons: Room (specially living room) was a bit dusty. Windows are thin so noisy traffic will get in your sleep.

Pros: Great view on Nile river from the balcony, very friendly and helpfull staf. Clean room.

Cons: Breakfast could be better. Rooms are above very busy street, so it's noisy even with balcony closed.

Pros: Charming manager and owner,Saif.Speaks 4 languages fluently.He went out of his way to help, not just with me but with other persons staying at the hotel. He took me to a pharmacy to buy some medicinal drugs which I needed for a chest infection and helped with IT issues with my iphone.A very good man.

Excellent value for the price

Pros: I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The location is excellent and very convenient, making it easy to get around. The room and public areas were clean and well maintained. What really stood out was the staff. Every staff member was extremely friendly, helpful, and professional. They made me feel very welcome and were always willing to assist with a smile. Their service truly made a big difference and enhanced my overall experience. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would be happy to stay here again.

Cons: Some of the facilities are a little dated, but everything is clean and well maintained.

Pros: The staff were super friendly and helpful. We have changed our plans last minute as we could not go to Nubian village anymore. They have reimbursed us right away. Location is great.

Cons: Noisy at nights. (All street sounds can be heard, but maybe it depends on the location of the room)

Perfect location and amazing service”

Pros: The location is perfect and the hotel is great, but what really stood out was the very friendly and helpful staff. Everyone is willing to think along with you and make your stay as comfortable as possible. The view of the Nile from the room is absolutely beautiful.

Cons: The only small downside is that there is no elevator. If you stay on the fourth floor, it can be quite a climb. Other than that, everything was very good.

Clean and functional

Pros: We were at Philae hotel for three nights. Staff were amazing Seif and Omar helped us with everything. They helped us organise the tours and comparing prices, they were very competitive and it was great not having to deal with it ourselves. Rooms were great. Clean and functional. Breakfast was also great.
