Nile Bride

Pros: Every thing in Nile. Ride was very clean and the people are very gentle and respectful.

A slice of heaven

Pros: I don’t have enough language to just describe how this place made me feel. We were picked up by Mustafa (the owner’s nephew) who then took us over to the Accomodation via short scenic boat ride. This place was an experience, gave us a moment of stillness and be present. They coexist so beautifully with the cats and the lady Mustafa’s mom made one of the best meals I’ve had. We enjoyed the Zucchini so much that we asked to have some the next morning The views are outstanding, I’m just sad we stayed one night and I’ll be back for more.

Cons: Nothing! My stay was just short

Idyllic stay in a rural setting but a short walk to the public ferry.

Pros: Location was peaceful away from the hustle and bustle of Aswan. The balcony to our room was a good size a great place to air and watch the sunset. Home cooked meals were available and really good.

Cons: Shower was not in a separate cubicle so the WC and basin would get wet from shower splash

Fantastic stay, very friendly owner, amazing nile view on the terrace

Pros: Our stay at the Nile Bride was one of our best stays in all of our travels. Mostafa and Mohamed sometime pass by for a talk and are very helpfull. The food we ordered at night was the best we ate in our 3 week trip in Egypt beside of the terrace and the view on the nile and the oposite deserted mountains with ancient tombs. Ask them to go birdwatching by boat on the Nile at 7.00am. They will also pick you up with the boat when you arrive and bring you to the mainland again when you leave. We came for 2 nights and stayed 5. This village with its ancient history is a very special place. After spending some days on the island it felt like everybody knew us and we came so easy to conversations and wonderful encounters.

Pros: It’s the most beautiful place that we stayed on elephantine island. It is a family guesthouse with warm hearted friendly persons everyone is looking for you and the word that you feel comfortable all the time. The beds are very comfortable. The shower is perfectly hot. And not to forget the food! Homemade and fresh with a lot of love made and served. The place is a must be place!

Perfect serenity on the banks of the Nile

Pros: Wow, what an absolutely perfect accommodation, not only the beautiful setting on the banks of the Nile but our wonderful hosts - Mostafa and Hamada - were absolutely incredible. They helped us so much - taking us to the mainland at 4am in their motorboat for our trip to Abu Simbel, sorting out taxis and transport to the airport, trips to Philae temple and the Botanical gardens (which are just across the water from the accommodation), delicious home cooked breakfast and evening meals, and lots of good tips about exploring Elephantine Island, they made our visit special. The room in our accommodation was cosy and comfortable, and waking up to that view of the dunes across the water is genuinely blissful, a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of the mainland. This was our favourite place in the whole of our 2 week trip to Egypt

A peaceful and authentic place to stay when visiting Aswan.

Pros: Amazing hosts! So kind and welcoming and took the time to get to know us. Peaceful location, tasty brekkie, and a unique stay.

A Perfect Stay on Elephantine Island

Pros: We had a perfect stay at Nile Bride. The guesthouse sits on the quietest and most beautiful part of Elephantine Island, with stunning views from both the rooms and the shared areas. Mostafa and Hamed looked after us wonderfully throughout our stay. Breakfast was excellent, and the dinners were outstanding. We had both the fish and the vegetarian dishes. They also arranged a fantastic boat trip to the Nubian Village, a memorable sunset felucca ride, and seamless transport to Abu Simbel. We only wish we could have stayed longer, and we’re already looking forward to the day we can return.

Perfect island Stay

Pros: Lovely people and very clean big room! Also loved the food very much!!

Wonderful restful location. Good and very obliging staff and owner. Would definitely go again and highly recommend.

Pros: Beautiful secluded location, wonderful meals with plentiful food cooked to suit your own timing. Lovely outdoor area overlooking a fabulous view across to the Botanical Gardens island. Good beds, pillows etc. Owner’s nephew transported us to and from the mainland for a small charge.

Cons: Would have preferred a separate shower area that was not open to the bathroom, wetting the open floors and toilet area, but it wasn’t a deal breaker and the shower water was lovely and warm. Don’t recommend the trip to the Nubian village where we got loads of hassle from locals to buy stuff.
