Lovely ANDY house

Pros: A wonderful stay at ANDY Nubian guest house on Elephantine Island, a peaceful village right in front of Aswan city. The surroundings are very local and simple as a typucal egyptian village, sime houses, goats and sheeps around, which gives the place a very authentic and relaxing atmosphere. The guest house is easy to reach: a five-minute ferry crossing and a short two-minute walk. Traveling with a backpack is much more practical. The place was clean and cozy. Ahmed, the owner, is extremely helpful and responsive, and Mohamed, the assistant, is also very kind and attentive. I felt truly welcomed. Highly recommended!

Pros: Absolutely amazing stay. The room and facilities were great, and the location on Elephantine Island was a nice reprieve from the hectic nature of many Egyptian cities. The internet was also one of the fastest I've had in all of Egypt! The standout though was the owner, Ahmed. He was always available, and endlessly helpful. He helped organise some activities, and owns a felucca so arranged a trip for us at short notice. Overall, I'd absolutely stay there again!

Pros: Due to a flight delay, we arrived very late in the city. Our host gave us detailed guidance on taking the ferry and even waited for us at the pier. The room was newly renovated, and the shared kitchen was fully equipped. In addition, he answered many of our questions and provided a lot of useful information. We are truly grateful for his generous assistance and had a wonderful time.

Pros: Everything was perfect including the breakfast, the guesthouse has 2 rooms and it’s very quiet in this case.

Pros: I really enjoyed my stay at AnDy’s! The house is wonderful, safe, the room spotless, and the owner and his family are incredibly kind and attentive.

Pros: This guesthouse is located on a small island. There are only two rooms, but they are just the right size for a solo traveler. There is a toilet and shower inside the room, and it appears to be new and very clean. Breakfast is included. If you request a breakfast time from the host in advance, they will prepare it according to your request. Since it is a family-run business, relatives and cousins ​​live nearby. They will come quickly if you need anything. I had to travel to the bus station on the main island, but the host's cousin rode with me in a local minivan and was very helpful in translating in Arabic for the driver. The host was also very caring, and it was a wonderful stay.

Amazing place in Elephantine island

Pros: In the middle of the South Nubian village and conveniently close to the archaeological area and the ferry, this small hotel has a big big heart! The rooms are new and equipped with everything you need, a very good breakfast is included and if you have an early start, Ahmed will bring you a nice lunchbox! The common area has also a small kitchen where you can store food in the fridge and cook something simple. But the very best thing about this guesthouse is the owner Ahmed! He will help you with everything you need!

Pros: Everything here is beautiful, from the warm welcome and hospitality to the most wonderful place – a place that no one can disagree on.

Pros: We were one of the first guests in Ahmed's new guesthouse. It is located in the middle of a village on Elephantine Island, which for us was amazing! It feels like living in the village. The room was very comfortable and clean, hot water in the shower. Yahya, who welcomed us and arranged breakfast every morning was very kind, just as Ahmed himself. Breakfast is good and if you want any adjustments, Ahmed is happy to do that for you. He even brought us Egyptian fruit salad three times. Ahmed has his own felucca which we thought was very convenient not having to argue about prices on the street.
