Wonderful hotel!

Pros: Highly recommend this hotel to everyone visiting Aswan. It’s very convenient to stay here, even though it’s on an island, the owner has his own boat and will pick you up directly from the pier. He carried all our heavy luggage for us the whole way. The rooms are clean, well-equipped, and have everything we need. The breakfast was the best I had in Egypt — delicious and plentiful. When we left early in the morning, the owner kindly packed breakfast for us to take away. This is an amazing hotel, I sincerely recommend it!

Peaceful beautiful location with kind, gentle hosts

Pros: Beautiful peaceful location with view across the Nile. Wonderful & very welcome contrast to the noise, hassle & busy atmosphere in Aswan - a world apart. Rayan Nubian is a new, very clean & quiet guesthouse. Mohammed & Karim were kind, gentle, quietly welcoming & humble people. They were happy to collect & drop off by boat even very early for an Abu Simbel trip. Dinner was very extensive, all freshly prepared & really delicious & they provided a full packed breakfast for Abu Simbel trip. They certainly deserve all the great reviews they are getting.

For your perfect stay in Aswan.

Pros: Very clean, new rooms. Beautiful location by the Nile. Wonderful, very tasty home made food recipes. Nicest, genuinely friendly and helpful people. They help us so much with our plans and arrange our day tours. No tips were expected but last day I was able to at least pay something of all the favors and services and boat rides we got. Thank you so much!

A lovely spot which still has a way to go as a property

Pros: A lovely quiet spot facing out onto a beautiful part of the river. The staff, especially Mo are super lovely. Breakfast is good. It's quiet and you'll sleep well.

Cons: The rooms lack soul, they're brand new and clean, but bedside lamps and places to hang clothes lack. Bedsheets are not cotton - bring back cotton! They're building as they go, but I feel they could remove litter from outside the property and landscape the bank to the river a bit so that it looks less like a construction site.

Pros: Best accommodation i had in egipt. Peaceful environment, clean and modern room, good food and amazing people. They will help you with anything you need!

Perfect Nile island stay

Pros: We loved our 3 day stay in aswan - rayan Nubian guest house lovely clean and comfortable - it’s on a very peaceful part of the island with wonderful views. The food was delicious - great breakfast and dinner. We highly recommend the chicken tagine. Mohammad was a great host and Karim took good care of us on our boat trip over to the botanical gardens and tombs of the elders.

Pros: If you’re planning to stay on Elephantine Island look no further. Rayan guest house is located facing the West Bank (the best view you can get in Aswan, particularly here), so it’s the most quiet and green part of the island, while still being super close to the ferry dock. Rooms are spacious and clean. But the real reason you should come here is because of the hosts, Mohammed and Karim: they don’t do it for the money, they truly care about hospitality. Karim has a boat and is always happy to listen to your requests with a smile, Mohammed takes care of everything in the guesthouse, from cooking to accommodation, plus is the greatest guy to chat with. It’s one of those places where you want to go back before leaving, if I could give more than 5 stars I would no hesitation. Please respect the Island culture, the kindness and the quietness and places like this will not succumb to over tourism. Thank you again Karim and Mohammed.

Lovely stay with warm hospitality, we would definitely recommend this guesthouse to anyone

Pros: We had a wonderful stay at this guesthouse in Aswan. The team reached out to us before our arrival and shared all the necessary information in advance, which made our stay very smooth. They even stayed in touch to help arrange our private boat transfer to the guesthouse — such thoughtful service! The staff were incredibly kind, friendly, and always ready to help with any request. Breakfast was delicious — if mango juice is available, don’t miss it, it’s absolutely the best! 🍋🥭 The staff also kindly prepared special food upon our request, which we really appreciated. The room was clean, spacious enough for two people, and well equipped with all the necessary amenities.

Cons: The only downside was the bathroom setup — water tended to spread throughout the bathroom during showers, making it less comfortable to use the toilet afterward. Slippers were also not provided, which would have been helpful. The wifi will not work as it best but still able to use.

So nice to meet humble hard working people.

Pros: The complimentary boat pick up and drop off were fantastique. The accomodation even organised taxis pick up from airport at a reasonable fare. The owner and other team members were very helpful. The breakfast was well balanced meal. The accomodation was very clean and Mohamed was always available on the phone. We were very surprised to even receive symbolic gifts on checking out.

Great stay by the nile

Pros: New building by the Nile with a modern style. All the team was amazing and always ready to help. We really appreciated the free transfer at check out and the amazing breakfast, the best of our trip (thank you Muhammad!). The view from the rooftop is lovely too!
