Pros: Very good welcome, if you want relax in nubian style it's perfect! They can arrange tour in very good conditions. Breakfast is very good. Thank you very much!

Pros: Fantastic location, beautiful view from the balcony, there is a terrace on the roof with a breathtaking view, friendly and helpful staff with a positive attitude, very good place, I recommend it to travelers who love nature and a lot of walking, this place is the cider of Elephantine Island, I recommend it 1000%

Pros: Our entire experience at El Prince Guesthouse was great. The staff did everything they could to make our stay in Aswan easy and enjoyable. We had a river-view apartment and really enjoyed being able to relax on the balcony while taking in the Nile view from time to time. Crossing over to Elephantine Island is easy and inexpensive. Once there, you’ll find great, affordable restaurant options. The island is also home to a Nubian village where it feels safe and pleasant to walk around. Breakfast was served on the rooftop each morning, and the owner even prepared a breakfast box for us on the morning we left for Abu Simbel at 4 a.m. The apartment was fairly clean and very spacious.

Great little place on the quiet side of Aswan

Pros: What a nice find! The view from the rooms and roof terrace is great, overlooking the botanical garden island and the route to desert monastery on the west bank. Absolutely no traffic noise from the city at all, just lots of quiet sailboats and an occasional water taxi. The manager Amgad was incredibly kind to us - from (huge) packaged breakfast we could not possibly finish ourselves, to a wake up knock on the door to make sure we don't oversleep for our daytrip, even taking us on his private motorboat on the last day, not just between the islands for sights, but also to the dock near train station. Nothing was ever a problem. We truly believe this is one of the best guest houses in its class in Aswan. It is not fancy, but the bed is comfy, hot water runs and as long as you set your expectations right, this is a lovely place to use as home base while you explore.

Cons: Bit hard to find in the maze of narrow dirt streets, but the location and view are worth it. Could be considered a bit rough, but we're used to exposed wires, lower cleaning standards and occasional bug. It's comparable to most hostels in the world. Problems with bathroom water running were promptly fixed and in the meantime we got access to a much larger (shared) bath with a proper bathtub. The manager really went out of his way to make our stay comfortable despite the drawbacks

Pros: El Prince Guesthouse is in an amazing location on Elephantine Island. The Host Amer is a lovely man and couldn’t be more helpful. The Guesthouse has a great rooftop terrace where you can enjoy the peace and quiet broken by the odd donkey!! The views are spectacular over the Nile and also watching the sunset. The Wi-Fi was the excellent.

Pros: What I liked most about the accommodation is the island; the people living on the island are very friendly and hospitable, and they truly give you a local experience.

Awesome few days

Pros: Everything, awesome little spot sitting overtop of the Nile. Absolutely beautiful views all day round, just down from the hotel is an amazing swimming spot too. Highly recommend
