very pleasant and restfull stay with sunning views.

Pros: very friendly staff that can also take you to boat trips. Internet was good. Bed very confortable and there is no noise from cars, etc. Neighbourhood around is very traditional which was also nice, safe and very quiet without turist traps or annoying vendors. There are good restaurants in walking distance. The view is also very nice to enjoy from the room balcony.

Wonderful

Pros: The location was truly beautiful, overlooking the Nile. The manager Marwan and Chef Ayman were friendly and wonderful. They both made my stay really special. Marwan gave a tour of the Island when I came and helped in organising tours if I wanted. The breakfast is huge (savoury and crepes) and great value for money. Overall just a lovely stay

The most lovely staff! And fantastic views

Pros: Amazing views from the roof top terrace. Marwan and Mohammed were excellent hosts for our stay. We liked Elephantine island. Fabulous breakfast. Complimentary hibiscus drink.

Cons: The deluxe room could be improved with some pictures on the wall and bedside lights.

Excellent place to stay

Pros: Amazing new guesthouse with a lovely owner and kind staff. The view from the rooftop is stunning. The breakfast was good and tasty 👍 We enjoyed our stay so much and wish to be back one day.

Very nice brand new hotel in a peaceful location next to the Nile

Pros: Very nice brand new hotel in a peaceful location next to the Nile. The owner picks you up by privat boat from the riverbank and drives you to the hotel at Elefantine Island. There is no road leading to the hotel, only narrow walking paths trough a maze of small buildings where the locals live. Very genuine atmosphere. A perfect place to recharge yourself after being in busy places like Cairo or Luxor.

Pros: All of the staff were so friendly, it is brand-new and spotless. The bed was huge and really comfortable. The room was a great size, bathroom was really clean. The balcony is so nice to sit on and watch the Nile and relax. We rented kayaks for the afternoon one day and another asked the boat captain to take us to the west bank so we could go for a walk in the desert. The island is very calm and relaxing, much nicer than staying in the craziness of town. But it is very easy to get across on the public boat if you want or need to. Would definitely recommend.

Cons: The breakfast could maybe be a little bigger and have some fresh fruit like a banana or apple. Overall it is a little pricey but it is really nice.
