Gorgeous house in a fab location

Pros: We really enjoyed staying at Dara guest house. The location was in a quiet area on Elephantine Island, only a few minutes walk from the ferry terminal. The host met us upon arrival and took us to the house, which was a gorgeous Nubian style property. It was a little oasis of calm and peace, which kept cool even during the heat of the day and it was spotlessly clean. We loved the roof garden, where we could hear and see different birds such as hoopoes and laughing doves in the nearby trees. The breakfast was fantastic too and there was plenty of food for our family of 4. The island was very relaxing and the people are friendly and welcoming. Thank you so much for our lovely stay!

Great relaxing stay

Pros: The location is quiet and the house is simple and decent. The host is a very helpful lady and makes great breakfast, the room has TV and wifi is fair. The rooftop access was great for unwinding. We really enjoyed our stay here. They also prepared take out breakfast on our early touring days.

Pros: The food was delicious, the owner is friendly and the house gives a great view The kitchen and bathroom are kept clean and tidy It’s in a quiet part of the island and the house is a nicely decorated Nubian style The top of the building has a great view of the farm and is quiet and peaceful at night time Lots of space for more than one person per room

Pros: Très bon emplacement sur l’île Éléphantine, Mohamed et sa famille sont très accueillants et ils étaient toujours disponibles pour quoi que ce soit. Ils nous ont arrangés la visite de Abou Simbel et d’autres activités à très bon prix. Je recommande fortement!

Pros: Duża przestrzeń, cisza, spokój, dobrze wyposażone była herbata, kawa, kuchenka, papier oraz dobrze działający internet. Łatwo było porozumieć się z gospodarzem, śniadanie było na czas. Miła i pomocna obsługa.

Logement agréable

Pros: La location est confortable et est proche de l'embarcadère (5 mn) sur l'île éléphantine, île très agréable. Petit déjeuner très bon et copieux.

Cons: La location n'est pas bien indiquée, nous avons eu du mal à trouver, nous avons réussi à trouver grâce à l'aide d'un habitant. Il y a du bruit le matin car les dindons dorment à proximité.
