A gem, so glad that we found it

Pros: Wow, a real gem. Walking through the front gate there is a feeling of relaxation, friendliness and care. A great rooftop terrace for breakfast and hanging out. Lovely owner and staff. Herbicous tea was complimentary and delicious. Minutes from King Jamaica which is great for food & ambience.

A Delight.

Pros: This place is a delight. A short cheap ferry trip from the East bank of the Nile. It’s in the middle of a deal Nubian village on Elephantine island. Clean, spacious with a rooftop terrace. It’s highlight is a wonderfully naturally cool garden. At least two good restaurants in the village. We loved it.

Lovely stay at Mango guesthouse, would recommend!

Pros: Yummy, filling breakfast. Even organised a breakfast box when we had early tour. Organised transport to hotel. Quick responses to messages. Very clean, lots of natural light.

Cons: Streets from ferry station to hotel felt a bit dodgy. Shower leaked slightly but not a major issue.

Best place ive stayed in Egypt

Pros: This is by far my favourite stay in the whole of Egypt. (I have been travelling now for 3 weeks) A warm welcome, friendly and helpful staff, i stayed in 302 and it was beautifully decorated, the ceiling is amazjnf! Everything I needed, a hot shower, large comfy bed and a roof terrance with panoramic view. Light, Airy, clean and Nubian. Great breakfast, Ibrahim's bread for breakfast was amazing, some of the nicest! Close to everything, walkable and secure.

Pros: Very cute guest house in this middle island of Aswan. Nice staff, come to pick you up to take the ferry (15EGP) to cross. It’s a five minute walk. There are restaurants and bars in the middle island. They served a good breakfast.

Pros: We especially liked the cozy tropical garden, the roof terraces and the fridge with cold soft drinks, water and beer. A lovely place to relax. The hosts were very helpful in organizing tailor -made trips.

Cons: The food was not great the single time that we had dinner there. The breakfast was excellent.

Pros: Elphantine island is amazing, loved walking around everywhere. Easy to get there with the ferry. Guesthouse is really lovely, views are great and the staff will help you organize any trip for a really fair price!
