Perfect stay

Pros: We were so well taken care, our best memory of Egypt! Elephantine island is so peaceful and Airkela is 2mins away from the ferry. Perfect location. Food was delicious and water was always available. The room was clean and comfortable. The balcony has a great and peaceful view on the Nil ~

Pros: I liked the staff especially Mohamed (Mini) who was marvellous and the owner who charming and helpful. I loved this little hotel, it's tasteful and comfortable and has everything needed for an idyllic stay on Elephantine. Beautiful view from my room. Great breakfast cooked by Mohamed and assisted by Ahmed. So welcoming and kind.

Cons: The only problem I had was the curtains! They don't close well. They seem to be too small. Other than that everything was perfect and spotlessly clean.

Lovely guesthouse with friendly staff and good food

Pros: Super clean and very close to the ferry terminal, really beautiful view from the room and tasty freshly cooked breakfast. Very friendly staff, lots of hot water for showers.

Cons: Some bottled water in the room and tea/ coffee making facilities would have been a nice touch (though staff on the roof terrace did make us these when we asked); also there are mosquitos around so be sure to bring some spray!

Pros: We loved staying here, the beautiful balcony in front of the Nile.. The Terrace upstairs is so beautiful in the morning, having breakfast there is so peaceful. The staff is so helpful and really welcoming! It feels like home highly recommend it

Quite Beautiful...

Pros: The hotel's owner and his brother stand out for their kindness, hospitality, and helpfulness. The property has 24/7 access to Elephantine Island. Considering the price-performance ratio, it's a very good option that can be recommended :)

The Perfect Hotel to Relax and Unwin

Pros: Stunning views of the Nile and the shimmering cityscape of Aswan! The people on Elephantine Island are warm and laid-back, and the atmosphere is incredibly relaxing. The hotel staff are also very kind and welcoming!

Cons: There was nothing bad about the hotel. Just keep in mind that after getting off the boat, there are stairs and an unpaved path, so carrying luggage can be a bit tough.

Pros: The hotel offered a warm and pleasant stay. We were welcomed with a refreshing hibiscus tea, which was a lovely touch, and the breakfast served was delicious and satisfying. Overall, a comfortable experience with thoughtful hospitality

Great experience!

Pros: Really nice Nubian house, with a lovely view on the Nile, rooftop terrace and clean rooms. The breakfast was included and it was really abundant and good and the staff was very kind and professional. Special thanks to Rawia, who really helped us organising our trips and transfers, always making sure we were safe (3 girls). She made us feel welcomed and at home, and also her Nubian food was delicious. Highly recommended!

Quiet stay with a beautiful view.

Pros: The hostess is very friendly. The view of the Nile from the property and from the balcony we had in our room was fantastic. The Island is Very quiet and the ferry travel to get to the place added a nice touch. We asked the guesthouse to meet us at the ferry point and they helped us to find the place and carry the luggage on the way back. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable.

Cons: A small detail is that there was no shower curtains in our bathroom.
