Great place with lovely owners in a great location which is so easy to get the ferry from less than 2 mins walk.

Pros: Great place to stay only a few minutes away from the public ferry across to Elephantine Island. Ahmed and Yousra who run Crystala are exceptionally friendly and helpful. The property is spotlessly clean in a great location.

Cons: Nothing it was a great place to stay.

Pros: The property was clean and amazing value for money - the best thing about it was the hosts - they were so kind and friendly, invited us for tea and cake on the roof with them so we could get to know each other and let us ask questions about Nubian culture. Would recommend to anyone - plus worth spending time on Elephantine in general as completely different to main Aswan with awesome vibes and energy.

Pros: Absolutely loved the hospitality. The host and his wife went an extra mile to make me feel at home. They offered me the most delicious dinner which I didn’t even pay for. Organised the tours for me at the most reasonable prices. Helped me with taxi bookings. Abdullah the boy who works there is just the sweetest and extremely polite and helpful. I’m travelling solo so meeting such lovely people really helps a lot and makes the whole experience 10 times better. The property is beautifully located in the Elephantine island, they have a beautiful rooftop terrace from where u can watch the sunrise. Everything was perfect and I highly recommend this place to everyone. 100% value for money.

I would go back to Aswan again, as two days was not enough, and I would stay at this guest house.

Pros: This is not a hotel, but offers all the comforts you'd expect from a good hotel. The biggest bonus besides the great price is the exposure to Nubian hospitality and culture. You'd not get the same from some big hotel chain. The owner/manager Ahmed and his wife were wonderful to talk too, and went over and above providing small gifts along with Nubian tea and pastries to thank us for our stay. Ahmed also assisted with all transportation requirements for all our touring at better rates than found elsewhere. I highly recommend a stay at the Crystala Guest House in Aswan to round out your amazing travel experience.

Pros: The view from the room and rooftop is truly amazing! Room was completely renovated and very clean, nearby the ferry and nice restaurants. The hosts were so sweet and welcoming! Overall a great place to stay for a fair price!

Pros: Amazing stay, super recommended. The owners are very welcoming and helpful. They helped us communicating with the airport as we had luggage problems and organized wonderful excursions for us (I suggest the tour in felucca around the island during sunset). Very good food cooked by the owner and served on an amazing terrace with a great view on river Nile. The property's location is very convenient, on Elephantine Island, a very safe and authentic island in the Nile inhabited by the Nubians: a very welcoming people whose customs and traditions we learned thanks to the stories of the owners. The island is connected to the city of Aswan by a 24-hour ferry.

Cons: The room was comfortable; while cleanliness was generally good, there were a few small areas where it could have been more thorough (for example, the bed sheets had a few minor stains). The bathroom is small but practical and functional. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return, especially thanks to the kindness and helpfulness of the staff.

Pros: The hospitality of the owner and his wife was excellent! Very helpful and kind. Highly recommended! The guest room is located on elephant island a very nice and quiet place 3 minutes by motorboat! There is also a rooftop with a beautiful view to the Nile river that you can relax any time !
