Amazing place and hosts

Pros: Beautiful location delicious restaurant downstairs. The host went above and beyond to support us. We hired a bike which they recommended and took us to which we use to get around everywhere. The room is really comfortable

Pros: I really liked our stay here, its away from the hustle and bustle, it’s so peaceful, so beautiful. After days of visiting the sights it is so nice to come back here and relax away from it all. Also really lovely hospitality from Ali and his family. It is a bit outside of the town, but they will happily run you in on the motorbikes for free, 5 min ride.

Cons: The linen could have been cleaner. It was obviously washed, but you could see marks

Hosts with big hearts, huge appartment, calm and authentic neighbourhood, great breakfast.

Pros: If you are in Luxor you have to stay on the calm and authentic West bank with so many hidden gems and people. Family that was hosting us (Ahmed, Mahmoud and Hossam) are so warm people that will go beyond, just to make you have the best experience. Don't worry about staying a bit away from the ferry port as one of them will always come pick you up or take you there. Breakfast on the rooftop is just breathtaking. Below they run a beautiful restaurant Baladi Garden you have to try where they also grow their own vegetables. Pro tip: Rent yourself bikes for a couple of hours from El-Nile rent-a-bike from Abdul and just explore the village. If you get offered a tea by Abdul (or anybody else from the village), do accept it as that might be a unique experience you will never forget.

Cons: Absolutely nothing. Hopefully, I will be able to visit again.

Easily our favourite stay in Egypt! We loved how genuine and connected it felt, and the room and location were stunning!

Pros: Easily our favourite stay in Egypt! My partner and I absolutely loved it here. They genuinely welcomed and treated us like family whilst we were there; both the service and the room were exceptional. Ali and his family are amazing, and we can’t thank them enough. Whilst it initially felt a little off the beaten track (taxis/ubers found it difficult to get to), the location is actually perfect, as it sits so close to many ancient sites around Luxor. It also feels far more rustic and homely, compared to a touristy hotel on the east bank. The views of the Nile and the mountain (by the valley of the kings) were stunning. There is a restaurant attached to the property, and we were lucky enough to have Ali driving us around to as many of the sites around Luxor as possible, which was incredible. We managed to be the very first there at the temple of Hatshepsut (photo below)!

Pros: We loved the location. It was quiet and peaceful, and it gave us the experience of staying in a rural setting with about a 25-minute walk to the public ferry port. The apartment was very spacious with a large balcony. The bed was comfortable and shower was very hot at all times. The house has beautiful views from the roof terrace. We have really enjoyed the breakfast and the kindness of the family stay.

Pros: Ali helped us with our stay and drove us around. Great to have his input. We loved the location although some people might feel it was too off the beaten track, but we loved it. The restaurant attached to the apartment was good and very convenient. Mahmood was very kind and his son was very helpful. It's on the west bank so the main ancient sites are very handy.

Pros: Place is nice, needy, tide and clean. You explore the real life in Egypt as you live between farms. Beautiful view over Nile from the terrace on the top.

One of a kind, will remember it for long while..❣️ Ahmed’s hospitality and kindness was so genuine, location is dreamy to experience real Luxor.. the stunning views from the rooftop, quality comfort of apartment, guide recommendations - everything I received there was very quality service and just perfect.. Thank you Ahmed, good luck with everything!!😇

Pros: We were very happy with our choice, on arrival at 5 am, Mr Ahmed was waiting for us with a smile, the apartment was clean and comfortable and equipped with the necessary. In spite of waking up late, tasty breakfast was served, by Mr Mahmoud and young Hossam, on the rooftop looking over fields of banana trees and the beautiful Nile. The villa is situated on the west side away from the hustle and more busy streets of the city, which was still easily accessible by the boat. They offered us gracious transport to and from the boats anchor area whenever needed. Mr Ali arranged for our sunset Nile boat trip and for our visit to Hatshepsut and Habo temples. It was a nice séjour, hoping to return back soon. Thank you
