A little house in paradise

Pros: This is a hidden treasure! So grateful I found this place. It’s a beautiful little house with a huge terrace overlooking the river, in the most beautiful part of the island. It’s completely independent with only one neighbour, a nice quiet hotel. It’s so calm and peaceful, yet close to the main part of the island. Everything is like in the photos, there is even a little beach. It’s perfect for meditating, a retreat or just enjoying the island at your own pace. Beautiful sunsets from the terrace. The hostess was very friendly and welcoming.

Cons: -The wifi didn’t work during my entire stay. The host has another hotel a few minutes walk away where I could use the wifi for work - Not easy to find at first, I recommend adding a pick up service for any new guests Still, my stay was a dream and would stay again!!

Good stay!

Pros: This was a nice place to stay if you want your own space. The rooms were spacious, with a separate bedroom and living space. Wifi worked well. The breakfast was nice. We also got a welcome drink on arrival. Overall everything was good. Great view over the Nile.

Idyllic location with the perfect host!

Pros: Location is an absolute dream. The correct side of the island to enjoy a peaceful and idyllic stay. Framed by the Aga Khan mausoleum and the Tombs of the Nobles with Kitcheners botanical garden island providing your main view. The host is exceptional in both hospitality and in cooking a satisfying homemade dinner if requested. So glad I happened upon this gem of a spot. Will definitely return on my next trip to Aswan..

Pros: I love this little house, right on the riverbank, with its balcony where you can spy pied kingfishers squabbling at sunset. It's super tranquil and perfect if you want to experience Elephantine. For practical matters: the Wifi is fast (very useful if you have to do some work during your stay) & the hot water is piping hot.

Nice house with amazing views to the Nile

Pros: It is a cute house in front of the Nile with a private balcony with beautiful views in the quiet Elephantine Island. The room and living room/kitchen has a good size and it was super clean. The host Raghda was very nice and helped us to arrange the pick up service from Aswan to the island, kindly prepared us breakfast to take away the days we woke up early to visit Abu Simbel and other sites and was always available on WhatsApp for anything we needed. The breakfast served at the terrace was very delicious too 😊

Cons: The bathroom shared the space for both shower and WC, which is not very comfortable.

Pros: Everything was really nice, including early check -in. Thank you very much!

Comfortable stay with a wonderful view of the Nile

Pros: Cleanliness of the room, the wonderful breakfast in the balcony overlooking the river next day, the effort to make sure I had a great overall experience.
