Pros: This was a wonderful place to stay. The bedroom is so lovely and the terrace perfect…some shade available for a hot afternoon too. Even though the nights were cool the little apartment kept its heat from the heat of the day. The proximity to the Nile and restaurants is excellent. And definitely good value for money. We really enjoyed staying on the West Bank…it’s developing fast…we came here 15 years ago and the place has changed a lot

Quiet, spacious accommodation, convenient location.
Pros: Had a great stay at this place, it's quiet, very spacious and the owner is very attentive. There are several restaurants nearby and you can easily find boats to help you cross to the east side of the Nile.
Cons: It can be a little hard to find, you have to arrange your arrival time with the owner so he can wait for you with the keys. Not a big deal though.

Pros: The Villa Diletta is that place where you can do as much or as little as you like. It had absolutely everything you need to feel at home and comfortable. Mahabad is the man, whatever you need or would like to do or see he will organise for you with great recommendations.

Pros: The owner, Mohamed, is the best, he helped us with everything: the pick up from the east bank at night, the excursion to Valley of the Kings for a fair price with a trustworthy driver… He even showed me how to get to the public ferry carrying me on his own motorbike. A super respectful, honest and thoughtful man. The property is a cute house in a quiet neighborhood (no honk sounds, just birds). You can find many nice places to eat at walking distance (it’s not dangerous). In the property, there is a small private garden with many plants and flowers. All rooms are spacious, clean and nicely decorated. Wifi and air conditioner work great. There is also a washing machine! All pictures on Booking represent the reality, no hustle.
Cons: Nothing really, it was a great place to stay.

Pros: Mohamad the owner was very helpful. Can assist with anything. Private secure courtyard. Washing machine. AC. Restaurants and small shop 20 m away. Close to tombs, temples and valley of the kings, hashepsuts temple. Ferry to the east bank is about 200 m away. The accommodation is 20m from the nile with Luxor temple visible on the other side.
Cons: Wifi not so good. Weak signal. Ok for mobile phone but laptop struggled.

Pros: A very sizeable home with a lot of love put into the courtyard forna.. Mohamed was a star, genuine and helpful beyond the call of duty.. felt complelty safe and was very peaceful day and night.. perfect location for restaurants and ferry. Lovely new promenade constructed by the Nile on west bank.. could not have been happier with my stay at Villa Diletta.

The best place to stay in Luxor
Pros: The location is really nice, around 5min walk from the public ferry. The place itself is a little paradise, we had a nice terrace for ourselves. The apartment is the best we ever had in Egypt, the bathroom is very clean. Mohamed gave us good advice and good prices for the Luxor tour by taxi (Valley of the Kings/Queens, temple). Fair price for the area
Cons: We booked through Mohamed a felucca ride but the price wasn’t set in advance and we ended up paying more than expected. It was however a nice experience
