an excellent hotel, with very friendly and helpful staff

Pros: The location in Sohag is very good. The view on river Nile is really beautiful. I liked the breakfast.

Cons: There was nothing that I did not like. This hotel is an excellent base for visiting the Temples in Abydos, and the Christian Monasteries around Sohag.

A very good value hotel in the center of the city.

Pros: This is a good value 3 star hotel with a good restaurant for guests. Located in the center of the town with all rooms facing the Nile. If you are driving they have a private parking included in the price.

Cons: Everything was ok.

Fantastic hotel with a great team.

Pros: Everything! The staff were the kindest, friendliest and most professional guys you could hope to meet. All of them knew my name and took an interest in how my day was. The restaurant was excellent, the housekeeping team were fantastic. The hotel is spotlessly clean. Thomas and Mina at reception dealt with any query quickly and always with a huge smile. When I wanted to visit nearby archeological sites they arranged everything from a driver to liaising with the tourism police ( who were professional and helpful themselves). The restaurant staff even made sure the Liverpool game was on TV for me❤️ I felt welcome here and highly recommended the hotel!

Pros: Bardzo dobry standard. Piękny widok na Nil. Dobra restauracja na miejscu w hotelu. Czysto.

Cons: Nadgorliwy personel. Nie pozwalali nam opuścić samodzielnie hotelu bez nadzoru policji, tłumacząc, że to ze względów bezpieczeństwa. Przez to nie mogliśmy zrealizować swoich wszystkich planów turystycznych, zwłaszcza że personel i funkcjonariusze słabo mówią po angielsku. Nie dało im się wytłumaczyć, że chcemy iść gdzie indziej niż oni chcą. Podróżowaliśmy w dwójkę, bez biura podróży, zwiedzając i nocując w różnych hotelach w Egipcie i taka sytuacja zdarzyła się nam tylko tu.

Tolle Lage, Gutes Hotel

Pros: Vom Check Inn bis zum Check out war sämtliches Personal sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Zimmer und Bad sehr sauber. Die Lage am Nil mit Blick auf en Nil ist überwältigend. Eine Querstraße hinter dem Hotel ein großer Markt Möglichkeit zum Abendessen.

Cons: Kaffee beim Frühstück nur in kleinen Päckchen in Pulverform - entspricht nicht dem Hotelstandard.

Pros: Lage an der Nile Corniche - und erstmals Fenster, die auch spürbar den Straßenlärm abhalten. Sehr gutes Frühstücksbuffet. Geräumiges, sauberes, bequemes Zimmer. Steckdose/Lichtschalter am Bett.

Cons: Ein Stuhl wäre nicht schlecht gewesen.
