Nile Roof Hotel& Restaurant

Pros: We stayed at this accommodation as a group of four. From the very first moment, we felt at home. I have been to Luxor several times, but the owner of this house and the people around him impressed me the most out of all my previous stays. I had many specific requests, and the owner understood perfectly what we wanted and arranged everything absolutely flawlessly — even better than I expected! He is surrounded by wonderful people, which makes your stay a truly perfect experience. There is almost no need to evaluate the accommodation itself — for the price, it is very good. Perfect location near the pier, nice view from roof terrace etc. I highly recommend this place. Sometimes inexpensive accommodation is much better than expensive ones! Thank you very much.

Pros: The host / manager was extremely nice , hospitable and always there for our inquiries and help. It’s a simple bedroom , clean and suitable for 2/3 nights stay. The placement is amazing littéraly 5 min from the public boat ferry. Once again I’d like to thank the host for taking good care of me and my dad and always offering tea and coffee and even a room to put our luggage in after we checked out from ours .

At home in Luxor

Pros: I would start just by saying “thanks Mamdouh!”, Nile Roof Hotel&Restaurant would really not be the same without you. We felt such at ease in a nice and welcoming atmosphere. Always ready to help and with good solution at hand. Had nice time chatting and laughing. Found a great heart and positive energy! He organised for us a great hot air ballon experience and a feluca ride. So you don’t really have to worry about much. We had previously been in Sharm and Cairo; Egypt provides very diverse accommodations and this one is by far the one where I felt more at home and relaxed. Value for money: Exceptional. This bank of the river is also less chaotic and Nile Roof Hotel is in a really good location, near the boats to cross and a few nice places to eat. There is a football field in front of the accommodation. If you like to play you can join! Breakfast is simple and filling. Super eating with the view of the Nile.

Pros: The room was so spacious. The beds were comfortable and a difference from other hotels in Egypt they have a full set of sheets. The hotel and room were so clean and the owner so helpful and respectful. 100% recommend

Amazing

Pros: Honestly is about three things one the location next to the ferry, the cheap and comfortable accomodation, and third the owner “Mambo” who is kind and helpful, he tries to help you arrange things but also not pushy and does not feel weird if you opt for another thing. In addition he was super kind as we had a late bus to leave Luxor, and helped us being the most comfortable we could!

Pros: The host is a very nice guy, positive and funny. We came close to midnight, but he was waiting for us and offered a welcome drink, that was exactly on time! The room was big and comfortable, the location was great, close to the public ferry. Breakfast is standard, but accompanied with a fantastic view to Nil. We enjoyed our stay.

Pros: Mamduh, the stuff very friendly, very clean, very spacious, very welcoming. I was ill and he helped me a lot by providing space to cook ad rest. Very good price for the value. He has many cooperations with tours that offer a lot of attractive packages. Mamduh was very talkative and funny.

Pros: Staff super nice and service on point! Located right next to the public ferry, with a stunning view on the river Nile and east bank Luxor. I had a big room with balcony and air conditioner. Welcome drink, fresh fruit in the morning, what else to say.. super recommended!

Pros: Perfect location....just 2 mins away from ferry point (google Maps doesn't show correctly, but it is literally 2 mins walk) Amazing view from the view...room facing nile. Clean room with bathtub. The view for this price is unbeatable. Highly recommend river facing room. Owner Mandouh is helpful and nice. If you are looking for accommodation on the west side, go for it. Highly recommend it.
