Pros: From the first welcoming smile to the last farewell wave this was the perfect holiday stay. The double roomed suite was large and airy with excellent quiet air con. The staff throughout the property were engaging and polite. Our room was maintained daily to a high level and bottled water replenished. Breakfast was varied and cooked to a high standard with plenty of waiting staff to assist if needed. The central pools are heated and if you look carefully you will find various smaller pools dotted on the outer rim of the hotel for a bit more privacy. Getting to the marina was either a short walk away or the local tuk tuk drivers ply for trade on the main road 50 Egyptian pounds for up to 3 people gets you to either marina or Downtown in minutes.

Pros: DoubleTree by Hilton Mangroovy El Gouna truly exceeded our expectations. The rooms are very spacious, the beds are extremely comfortable, and housekeeping was excellent throughout our stay. A special thanks to Mahmud, who was exceptionally kind and helpful and truly made our stay more enjoyable. Breakfast was great with a very good variety, and the beach (plage) was beautiful and well maintained. The location is also a big plus — walking distance to Abu Tig Marina and Fanadir Marina, which made going out very easy and enjoyable. And of course, the signature welcome cookies were so yummy 🍪 Highly recommended — we would definitely come back.

Hotel is very good located with great staff and service

Pros: staff are really nice especially the Restaurant and Mr. Mohamed Hassan, location of hotel is very convenient and accessible by walk to many areas, food was also nice, and pool and beach is very nice, and easy to access

Cons: room location was very bad overlooking constructions with workers down the balcony! the standard rooms i booked their balconies were looking over a slum area with constructions and workers! rooms cleanness was not good!

Wonderful New Year Stay

Pros: We had a wonderful stay at this hotel over New Year. The manager, Mr. Mahmoud Moulaa, was extremely helpful and professional, ensuring a smooth and pleasant stay. The breakfast and dinner were excellent, offering a wide variety and high quality. The New Year’s Eve dinner was incredible, and the evening entertainment during dinner was very enjoyable. Special thanks to Chef Amr, who was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our stay, and the hotel was very helpful in arranging a boat trip for us. The spa massage was perfect and very relaxing. The rooms were beautiful and offered a lovely view, with access to a semi-private pool. We will definitely be back again.

Amazing time I spent 6 nights and I enjoyed all of them the Christmas show was also very very good

Pros: Everything was amazing. The hotel is characterized by its tranquility and beauty, with high-quality service provided by all staff with professionalism and dedication.

Cons: The parking lot is very, very far from the main entrance.

Pros: The hotel itself is beautiful and comfortable. The room was spacious, perfect for two people, and there was plenty of space to move around and relax. The balcony was amazing, with a comfortable chair and a great view — I really enjoyed spending time there. There are two large swimming pools, both well-maintained, and the staff were fantastic — very kind, professional, and always ready to help with anything. From the reception to the housekeeping and entertainment staff, everyone was helpful and welcoming. The entertainment and tour services were also great. Mrs. Shams, who handled the tour arrangements, was wonderful and provided all the information we needed. The hotel was clean, and the overall atmosphere was relaxing.

Cons: When I booked, no one mentioned that the hotel was still in a soft opening phase. Because of this, there was a lot of construction work around the property. Even when we went to the beach — which is about a 10-minute walk from the hotel — we couldn’t enjoy it fully since they were preparing for the hotel’s official opening party. Although the beach itself was clean and nice, the noise and activity took away from the relaxing atmosphere we were looking for. Out of the two swimming pools, we could only use one because the other was close to the construction area. The gym was very small, and the surrounding area wasn’t ideal for jogging or morning exercise. I also wish there were more entertainment activities, such as yoga or morning sessions by the beach — something other hotels nearby offered. The breakfast was delicious, but the variety was limited compared to other hotels I’ve stayed in, and some of the food was a bit oily. I hope they can offer more variety and lighter options. It would also be great if they added a coffee corner or machine in the corridors or near the rooms — or at least opened the bar earlier in the morning for guests who just want a coffee. In the room, only instant coffee was available, which wasn’t ideal. Lastly, the food at the pool bar wasn’t very good and could use more variety and better quality. Despite these small issues, I really enjoyed my stay. The hotel has great potential once the construction work is done, and I would definitely consider coming back in the future! 💙

Pros: The stay was magnificent! I can hardly put it into words. Everything—from the staff, who were always friendly and supportive, to the food and the breathtaking location—was exceptional. I can wholeheartedly recommend it. If you're truly looking to relax this is the perfect place. Especially Mr. Mohamed Helmy and Mr. Mahmoud Baisouny were always present and attentive. Both do an outstanding job. I haven't seen such dedication and passion for a job and its customers in a long time. Always there with a honest smile.
