Alam B&B Luxor

Pros: Great location, great service and hosts, nice breakfast and nice vibe. Quite simple accommodation to be honest but not really an issue if that’s what you’re after. It’s a little loud but that’s the case everywhere in Egypt and not an issue specific to this place.

Cons: Mattresses weren’t the best but splitting hairs here honestly and we had a decent enough sleep regardless.

Pros: The staff were great - I couldn’t recommend the hotel enough. They were very attentive and got us checked in very efficiently, even though we arrived past midnight. We had booked the 4 bed/4 bath apartment and there was so much space for the entire family, and then some. The balcony in the master bedroom was a nice surprise and you could see the Nile from it. We would absolutely stay here again in a heartbeat. The location was great too. Just be warned - there are a few flights of stairs to get up!

Cons: Nothing - great hospitality and the ladies at reception were super friendly.

Cute B'n'B near Luxor Tempel.

Pros: Staff was very friendly, we communicated with google, hands and feet. As it is a BnB, the shower and toilet is communal, for me that was absolutely no problem as it was clean and finally we had good water pressure. Big rooms, cute balcony, would recommend for the frugal traveller.

Cons: Rooms were really big, but the beds not very comfortable and the windows don't isolate well, so you hear absolutely everything outside.

Pros: Dina and her family were sooo accommodating, they made our stay in Luxor even better! The rooms were large and spacious and with ample social shared spaces! Looking forward to coming again!

Little paradise in Luxor

Pros: We booked both rooms, so had the whole apartment to ourselves. The whole ambience was fantastic. Very clean, great location to the Nile river. Beautiful balcony over looking the Sphinix street. Breakfast was freshly prepared for us each morning. We would definitely return and recommend to other travellers.

Cons: If you are a light sleeper, ear plugs maybe a good idea as sometimes the traffic noise could disturb you. Would not stop me from returning though 👍

Pros: Very nice hotel in a very convenient area at Luxor close to Luxor temple and Nile river. Big, clean rooms. There is a great common big balcony to enjoy your coffee, tea viewing at shinx avenie. Diina, Mohamed and Sahar helped us with everything we needed, prepared breakfast for us when we had to leave early and helped transfer our luggage.

Pros: The apartment was perfect for us, great position with windows and balcony on the Sphinx Avenue, really close to the temple of Luxor and the Luxor Museum. The Egyptian breakfast was excellent, and the staff was really welcoming! Samira, Dina and Sahal took good care of us and the dinners Samira cooked for us were delicious!

Cons: We had problems with the wifi for a couple of days, but it depended on the line, it was not their fault. Apart from that, everything was great.

The best place to stay on the East Bank for an affordable price
