Bafana Bafana Nubian Hostel

Amazing time with amazing people!

Pros: The property is amazing. It is a real authentic nubian house with comfortable rooms and a lot of outdoor space. We felt completely safe the whole time and never had a worry. It was our second time staying here and we will definitely come back again. We stayed for two nights and the host (Abdallah) and his family took great care of us. He was very helpful with booking tours and getting good prices. We also did a tour with Abdallah himself where he showed us the local agriculture and the whole area of Aswan Westbank. Also the food you get in Bafana Bafana is delicious. Abdallah‘s aunt cooked fresh Nubian food for us every day and we couldn‘t get enough of it. If you are travelling and looking for an amazing experience where you dive in to the local culture and get to experience the real nubian life, Bafana Bafana is the place to go.

Pros: the location is in a secluded area very close to the nile and nature :)

Pros: Abdullah is very helpful,kind,with a fruity welcome drinks plus tea and coffee with kettles inside the rooms.He will escrt me to the ferry and pick me from the ferry,plus the tour he reserved for me ,with a great discount to Abu Simbel.

Pros: Abdou est un jeune nubien adorable, aux petits soins pour ses hôtes. Le petit dej cuisine avec amour par Soumaya était copieux et délicieux. Merci pour tout 😃

Pros: Beautiful hostel, it is very quiet and peaceful, away from all the crowds. Owner Abdullah is very welcoming and friendly, showed us around the area and always try to help when needed. Very delicious Nubian style food with huge portions, highly recommend 👍
