Salatoos Mango Garden and Guesthouse

Unfortunately I only stayed one night - the next time I’m def planning to stay longer!

Pros: The location was amazing! Such a beautiful and calm place. Great hospitality - the people were super friendly and open! And the food was so delicious, wow!

Pros: The location is very nice and peaceful. The garden just next to the nile looking over the east bank. Walking barefoot on sand. Very friendly people from the owner and the personal.

Pros: Wow there is soooo much to love here, the family running their business and all the extended family and friends that are around were all so welcoming friendly and kind, staying in a peaceful Nubian village close to the city here you can feel so much peace, connection with nature, community and Nubian culture. I loved waking up in this beautiful garden. The food is also delicious- multiple amazing chefs- freshly cooked meals- ingredients from the garden! Many activities that you can arrange here from Felluca trips, desert camping, camel rides, boat tours etc. it’s easy to reach the city from here by the ferry boat or their private boat so don’t worry about being out of the city- the location is perfect. So much love for this place, if you are considering don’t hesitate just book- this is your sign…

Pros: Everything, the place is paradise, the mango juice is exceptional, When you first arrive by boat to the west bank, the animals are grazing on the nile. It is the perfect place for nature lovers to unwind and explore the west bank and a refuge from the hustle and bustle of Aswan town. They do have a small boat to cross the river to the town anytime you need. Salatoo and his team are very welcoming and accommodating. They are always happy to help. Their homecooked Nubian food is the best that I have ever tasted in Aswan. I would highly recommend it. I have booked another 2 nights, and Salatoo and Melanie are very kindly organising a camal ride to the tombs of the nobles for us tomorrow. It is the kind of place that you arrive at as a guest and leave with a new family and home to come back to anytime. It is very difficult to put into words the beauty of this place 😊 😀 ❤️

Pros: The place is awesome!..a peaceful vibe....great view of the nile. It's like a farm house...Oh the food was very tasty and the people were so warm...loved it

Pros: Above all, it was Salatoo and his crew who made our stay unforgettable. You feel like part of a family, we ate together and went on excursions :) But you can also retreat and relax in the garden or by the Nile. The food was incredibly delicious, you can sleep in cozy and clean huts, tents or bungalows. The crossing to the city or wherever you wanted to go by boat was easy and cheap. Really highly recommended!

Pros: Amazing location and food! Zalatoo was a great host and they have a really chill garden. You can easily take the ferry to town.
