Best in Egypt

Pros: Best in Egypt, no question. The place is lovely, the staff is very kind and always available, the breakfast and dinner are very good. Walking distance from a nice walk along the Nile, and they organise activities if necessary (feluca rides, quads, balloon ride). Would absolutely recommend.

Pros: I had a brilliant stay at Kemet House, a lovingly restored historic building. The spacious room was stylish, very comfortable, and spotless. The owners and their team were super friendly and helpful. A highlight was the delicious and very generous daily breakfast. Great location, too. Highly recommended!

Amazing stay, value for money, staff are extremely hospitable and kind.

Pros: The staff were so incredible and kind. Kemet House felt like an oasis for us after a stressful trip. The facilities are incredibly clean. The rooms were super spacious and the comfort of the beds with the quietness of the rooms was very surprising. Kemet House is very much value for money. Additional services booked through the hotel went very smoothly as the owner was very kind and compassionate when speaking to us about where to go and what to book. The breakfasts are traditional and very worth waking up for, delicious. The special dinner for extra money is also incredibly worth it, delicious food and amazing customer service.

Cons: Many of the attractions are on the East side of the Nile, so a ferry ride was required a few times to see things on the East side. There is no elevator so physical effort is required to bring suitcases to your room. Bidets on the toilets were not effective.

Pros: Our stay was absolutely incredible! The hotel is exceptionally comfortable and very well-equipped with everything you could possibly need. The hosts were so kind and welcoming, making us feel right at home. A special mention for the food: both breakfast and dinner were delicious. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. Highly recommended!

lovely place and excellent breakfast

Pros: The host and staffs very nice and friendly. location very convenient. Bed so comfortable.Breakfast was so good. specially i love orange juice and coffee. so nice. and got good restaurant few minutes walk. We went there 3 nights

Cons: it can be very noisy from the road. But prepare ear plugs is help. and can smell cigarette from outside the room. it is nice place to stay.

Comfortable in almost every aspect

Pros: A very nice couple owner running this hotel. The cleanest room we ever lived in Egypt. Excellent breakfast and atmosphere. You just want to stay in the hotel and don’t go anywhere.

Cons: The WiFi in the 2nd floor doesn’t work very well but actually we never used a working WiFi in Egypt🤣 If you use too much hot water, the second one taking the shower needs to wait some time for the heater to make enough hot water in case the hot water runs out during the shower. Don’t ask how I know this.
