Pros: We’d like to thank the Elsanosy family for their hospitality and warm welcome. We stayed at their house for three nights. The house was in a quiet location, away from noisy streets. We used the transfer service provided by the owner, who met us at the airport, which was very convenient. We had a late check-in, but the owner greeted us with welcome drinks, which was amazing after such a long journey. We had a short chat, and he asked if we were interested in any additional services, but he wasn’t pushy. Honestly, I even regretted booking everything in advance and not having free time to take advantage of his offers—they seemed great. The room was clean, and the bathroom was perfect. We were only able to have breakfast once due to our early excursions, but it was unusual and delicious. The transfer back to the airport was also excellent.

Pros: The host's family was wonderful and very friendly. The room was spacious and clean. Excellent breakfast. The guesthouse offers optional dinners on-site (very convenient when arriving late in Luxor). They helped me organize outings, including an excursion to the Dendera temple (1.5 hours from the hotel) and a guided tour on the West Bank of Luxor. The location is good: situated in a quiet area, it is fairly close to the public ferry to reach the East Bank of Luxor. This ferry arrives in front of the Luxor Museum. In short, everything was superb.

Pros: Position of the hotel is super quiet and not too far from East Bank. They gave us bigger room even did not work internet during our stay, referred to other hotel to use internet. Owner was supportive and arranged transfer to Malsa aram was super comfortable.

memorable and nice stay
Pros: I recommend this place to anyone who wants to get to know the real Egypt and its people. It was a very valuable experience during which you could learn about the customs and way of life of an Egyptian family. The hosts were very hospitable and helpful. The family room was spacious, two bedrooms, bathroom and a cozy balcony. The lady's kitchen deserves recognition! A tasty and nutritious breakfast was included in the accommodation price, the dinner prepared for an additional fee was healthy and the tastiest of our entire stay in Egypt, better than in a five-star hotel. I sincerely recommend this place!

Clean, safe, friendly stay in a private room+bathroom inside a family house
Pros: Clean family home. Safe and budget friendly. The owners are kind people. Close to archeological areas in Luxor. Just a quick note about the location: You might have need car because it’s not in the Luxor center, but there are ferries which can be 10-15 min walking distance. If you have car, you need to pass the bridges and it took 30-35 min to arrive Luxor city center.
Cons: Everything was ok. Maybe breakfast can be better. And since this is a part of the family’s house, you can feel awkward when you enter the house with shoes or when you arrive late in the night.

Dream stay with lovely host family
Pros: Fantastic place run by a very friendly and competent family. Excellent breakfast with good coffee in a lush garden, room with a large roof terrace with 270 degree views over the city of Luxor in the east and the mountains in the west. The location is also good, 5 minutes down a pleasant road to the local West Bank high street and the ferry terminal to cross the Nile.
